His Bandmate

Chapter 7

Mia's P.O.V
I was waiting for Louis to come get me. He said he would be here anytime now. His car pulled up and I ran up to his door.

"Hey," he said with a smile.

"Hi," I replied.

"So I was thinking we could go get something to eat first?" He asked.

"Yea, that sounds good." I replied. We arrived at a small cafe and went in. We got escorted to a booth in the back, for privacy reasons.

"I'll have a coke," I told the waitress.

"Make that two," Louis said. The waitress walked away retrieving our drinks, while we looked over the menu's. I decided on a chicken sandwich. When the waitress came back we placed in our orders.

"So do you have anything planned for Christmas?" Louis asked me.

"Uh no I'll probably just stay home, and call my dad." I said.

"What are you doing for Christmas?" I asked Louis.

"I'm not sure yet, I'll probably go home see my family." He said.

"Where are you from again?" I asked him.

"Doncaster England." He replied. I nodded my head.

The waitress came back with our food a couple minutes later, and we thanked her. We ate having a little bit of small chat here and there. After we were done eating I tried paying the bill, but Louis wouldn't let me.

"Do you wanna go hang out with the rest of the boys?" Louis asked.

"Sure, is Sophie going to be there?" I asked him.

"Yea." He said. I knew Sophie and I would stay good friends. Louis and I climbed in his car.

"So you and Sophie get along quite good I take it?" Louis asked me.

"Yea." I said with a smile.

Louis made his way to Harry's house, and we were soon outside of Harry's door. Louis knocked on the door and Harry answered it.

"Hey Louis! Hey Mia!"

"Hi," I replied with a smile. I walked into the living room, and saw all the boys sitting in there along with Sophie.

"Mia!" She yelled and gave me hug. I laughed and gave her a hug back.

"You have to fill me in on everything!" She whispered.

"I will!" I said.

"Mia and I will be right back!" Sophie said and lead me to the kitchen.

"So how did your night with Louis go?" She asked smirking.

"Pretty good." I replied.

"Well tell me what happened!"

"Ok, so we danced to a couple songs, which you saw. Then when he took me home he walked me up to my door, and kissed my cheek. Then today we went out to eat, and just had small talk."

"Oh my god! I wish one of you would just admit each others feelings towards each other."

"He doesn't like me though." I said with a frown.

"Yes he does trust me!" She said.

"I'm not admitting anything last time I did that to someone it turned out badly." I said frowning remembering my high school years that were terrible.

Sophie frowned," Louis not like those guys, if he finds out that you like him he'll admit his real feelings." She said. I sighed not knowing what to do.

"You like Louis?" I turned around to see Liam staring at me with wide eyes. My face went blood red, and my eyes went wide.

"Please don't tell him!" I said.

"I won't, but why don't you tell him?" Liam asked. I groaned in frustration.

"It's not that easy!" I said.

"Yes it is, he'll feel the same about you." He said making it sound like it was the simplest thing in the world.

"He doesn't like me though!" I said. They just were not getting the fact that he doesn't like me.

"Ok whatever, but the boys wanted me to get you two. We're watching a movie." Sophie and I followed Liam into the living room. Instead of sitting next to Louis, Liam and Sophie went and sat next to Niall. Leaving me no choice but to go sit next to Louis. I sat down and Liam winked at me, with Sophie chuckling next to him. I secretly flipped them both off, making them both start laughing. Everyone just looked at them, and they stopped laughing.

The movie started and I had no idea what it was. Thirty minutes into the movie Louis got up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat, or drink I'm guessing.

A couple minutes later he came back with popcorn, and two pops. He held out a pop towards me, and I then noticed everyone was already asleep.

I smiled,"thanks." He nodded back and sat down.

"Do you want some?" He asked moving the bowl towards me.

"Sure," I took some out and ate it while watching the movie. My phone started ringing, and I quickly answered it wondering why someone would call me so late.

"Hello?"

"Mia?" I heard crying on the other side of the phone, and recognized the voice as Maddie.

"Maddie? What's wrong, are you okay?" I asked her. Louis looked over at me when I started speaking frantically.

I heard her start crying harder, I got up from the couch and went into the kitchen.

"Maddie, calm down and talk to me."

"J..Jake b..br...broke up with me." She stuttered out.

"Do you want me to come over to your house?" I asked her.

"Please." She said.

"Ok I'll be over there soon." I said and ended the call. I went into the living room, and Louis turned his head towards me.

"Louis I hate to ask again, but will you give me a ride to Maddie's?" I asked.

"Yea, of course." He got up and went to put on his shoes and jacket. I followed and did the same as him. We walked out to his car and he took of as I gave him directions. When we arrived, I turned towards Louis.

"Thank you so much. I owe you." I told him.

"Don't worry about it." He said waving his hand. I smiled and waved before getting out and walking towards Maddie's house. She had one of the deadbolts so I typed in the code before walking in. Louis waited till I got inside to take off. I walked into Maddie's living room to see her curled up in a ball.

"Maddie?" She turned towards me, and my heart melted at the site of her. Her eyes were swollen proving she had been crying for a long time. I went over to her and gave her a hug.

"I promise it will get better." I whispered to her.

"I don't get why he broke up with me. Everything was going fine." She whimpered.

"I know guys are stupid." I said.

"Yea they are." She said.

"Will you spend the night?" She asked.

"Of course," I said. We watched movies for the rest of the night till we ended up falling asleep.
