Chapter 37

Mia's P.O.V
Louis was taking me to my doctors appointment, and I was excited and nervous. I was just scared something would go wrong.

"Everything will be fine." Louis said, putting his hand on my leg that was bouncing up and down. I sighed and Louis grabbed my hand, helping me calm down.

We both climbed out of the car, and Louis walked me into the waiting room.

"I'll go check you in, just wait here." He said, as I took a seat. Louis came and sat down next to me.

We waited for a few minutes, before my name was called back. I got onto the scale and weighed myself, as the nurse wrote down everything.

We went back to a room, and the nurse started asking me questions. She then handed me a cup to go pee in. I left the room, and went to the restroom. When I was finished I washed my hands before, going back to the room.

"Ok I'll go test this, then the doctor will come in and talk to you guys." The nurse said. We both thanked her before she left.

"Maybe we shouldn't of told anybody." I whispered more to myself than Louis.

"What?" He asked.

"What if I'm not pregnant, then we'll have to tell everyone we already told." I said looking down at my boots.

"Hey, don't say that. Everything will be fine." Louis said leaning forward.

"But what if its not." I whispered.

"Then we have each other." He said grabbing my hand. I smiled at him as the doctor walked in. He smiled at Louis and I and shook our hands, introducing himself as Dr. Porter.

"Well we took the test and you are pregnant." He said.

I smiled and looked at Louis who was already smiling while looking at me.

"Can we see the baby?" Louis asked.

"Yes of course, you're almost 1 month." He said. A lady came in with everything to do the ultrasound with. I laid down as Louis came to sit down next to me. He took my hand in his, as the lady spread gel on my stomach. The gel was cold and made me shiver a little bit.

The lady started rolling the thing over my stomach, as a picture popped up on the screen beside us.

"Now you're not very far along so the baby just looks like a circle right now." The lady said as she began pointing out the baby to us. When I saw the baby I got a little teary eyed knowing that that was going to be Louis and I's kid. It was our little family. I hadn't noticed a tear roll down my face, until Louis wiped it off with his thumb. He pressed a kiss on my cheek, before looking back at the screen.

The lady printed out the picture of the ultrasound, and gave it to us before we left. I made my next appointment before leaving.

Louis took us back to our apartment, and we finished packing for tomorrow. We both couldn't stop smiling, knowing that we had a baby on the way. I mean I already took a test, but this was 100%.

"Should we Skype your mom and Dan, to show them?" I asked Louis.

"Yea, I'm sure she would love to see it." Louis said sitting next to me on the couch, as he opened up the laptop. He started calling his mom and she answered right away.

"Hi Mia, hi Louis. How is everything going?" She asked as Dan came onto the screen, and smiled at us.

"We actually had a doctors appointment today, and here's the baby." Louis said holding up the pic to the camera. The picture was a little bit blurry since it was so close to the camera, but you could still see it.

"We'll send you a copy of it, so you can see it and have one." I told her.

"You guys are going to be great parents, I just know it." Johanna said. I smiled at her and laid my head on Louis shoulder.

"When will you be a month?" Dan asked me.

"In one more week." I said.

"Oh trust me the pregnancy will fly by." Johanna said.

"I hope I can't wait to start buying things for him or her." I said.

"Oh that's one of the best parts." She said.

"We probably won't call for a couple of weeks, because we're going to visit Mia's dad in California." Louis said

"Ok well be careful while you are down there." She said.

"We will." We both answered.

"Thanks for calling, and call me soon." Johanna said. We both agreed before saying bye and hanging up.

"Are you ready for bed?" Louis asked me, as I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

"Yea." I said.

"Okay get up." He said.

"I'm to tired Louis." I said. He shook his head before scooping me up in his arms, and carrying me to bed.

"Thank you," I said as he laid me down.

"Wait, can you give me one of your shirts to sleep in?" I asked him. He went over to his drawer and took out one of his white shirts, tossing it to me.

I changed and put my hair up in a messy bun, before laying down. Louis laid down next to me, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Thank you." I said.

"For what?"

"Everything. For taking care of me, and being here when no one else is." I said. He smiled and pressed a soft kiss on my lips.

"Anything for you." He said.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said, as I started drifting off into a deep sleep.
