Chapter 23

Mia's P.O.V
Louis had went home last night, so he was coming over later. I had just gotten done getting ready when Louis texted me.

Louis: Hey, are you ready for the day yet?

Me: Yea, why?

Louis: Do you want to go shopping with me today?

Me: Sure!

Louis: Ok I'll be there in a few.

I slipped on my boots, and grabbed my purse. I sat in the chair next to the door while waiting for Louis. After a couple minutes he pulled up in his car. I walked out, opening the door to Louis car before getting in.

"Hi," I said chilled from being outside.

"Hey," he said.

"So what do you need to go shopping for?" I asked Louis.

"My sisters birthday is coming up, and I have no idea what to get her. So that's where you come in." Louis said with a small chuckle.

"How old is she?" I asked.

"15."

"So get her something like clothes probably." I suggested.

We decided to go to Rue 21, and we walked in searching for clothes. Louis held up a big brown sweater, that looked like it was made for a 50 year old. I started laughing, and Louis gave me a playful glare. I walked over to a dress with a denim jacket that was hanging up. I turned around to ask Louis what he thought and he agreed to getting it. We paid then left the store. Louis grabbed my hand as we were walking out to his car. I smiled to myself just feeling happy with everything for once.

We climbed into Louis car, and Louis asked if it was ok that we went and got a box and wrapping paper for his sisters gift. I agreed and Louis ran into the store to get everything, while I stayed in the car.

He came out not even a minute later, then we headed back to my apartment. Louis followed me upstairs to my room, and we entered my apartment taking off our shoes. We set down all of the supplies we needed, and started wrapping up the gift. When we were done, Louis and I sat down on the couch. I snuggled up into him inhaling his scent, and Louis wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm excited to meet your mom." I said with a small laugh.

"She's excited to meet you to." Louis said, looking down at me. He started leaning towards my face, and I leaned forward connecting our lips. I smiled into the kiss, and Louis pulled back leaving a small kiss on my cheek. I smiled looking up at him. While he was looking down at me, I noticed he had a different look in his eyes then what I've noticed before.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

He looked down at me for a few seconds before he took a deep breath.

"Mia, I love you." I was shocked by his words, at first so I just stared at him with wide eyes. He looked a little bit panicked at first until I decided to speak.

"I-I love you to." I said. Louis smiled and pressed his lips onto mine. I put both of my hands on each side of Louis face. He deepened the kiss a little bit, before pulling away.

"I've been wanting to tell you that for awhile now." Louis whispered moving some of my hair out of my face. I smiled up at him, and entangled our fingers with one of my hands. We sat in silence for a little bit, before I shivered.

"Do you want to go lay down and get warm?" Louis asked me. I nodded and he scooped me up in his arms carrying me to my room. I squealed and Louis grinned while looking at me. He laid me down in bed, before he laid down next to me pulling the covers over both of us. I scooted closer towards him, and he wrapped his arm around me pulling me closer towards him. My head was rested on Louis chest and Louis pressed a kiss on my forehead.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you to." He said.
