We need to talk.

I'm so sorry for this sudden write. This will be deleted once it's resolved or whenever I feel like it's necessary.

So yesterday one of my friends messaged me that they came across a story that has almost the EXACT bio description as mines. I didn't much of it and told them it probably wasn't that serious but when I checked it out, they were not joking.

This user has copied word for word of my "His Fallen Angel" description expect added in an addition sentence and as a somewhat similar plot as my story. Their story also involves the reader/OC having a son.

I never mention this but the lore behind "(Y/n)" in my Lucifer book is MY LORE based on my original character of the Hazbin Hotel show. I have yet to show her because I have yet to finalize the design. So the only thing I personal own from my book is the lore behind "(Y/n)" and my character Atticus and his lore/background.

And I know people will argue. "But author, there's probably lots of stories that involve Lucifer and a child. Which I can agree on! Yes! I, myself have read a good amount of books where either the OC or Reader has a child in Hazbin Hotel with Lucifer or just in general, have similar plots like mines.
(Probably better ;w;)

BUT that's not why I'm upset. I'm upset at the fact that this person has the same description of my story and for anyone wondering, I will not be revealing who it was because I don't want to stoop down to that level.

I've had my fair share of people coping/steal my writing and even art.. which doesn't get any better :/

But it frustrates me that someone would copy my words! I'm going to say this.

If you guys want to take inspiration from my stories.

You are free to do so, HOWEVER.

There's a difference between taking inspiration and copying. Don't just copy word for word of my story! Make it your own and explore what you want to write.

People need to understand that people pour their heart and soul into their books and watching others copying it and saying it's their own, is not right. :/

I'm really sorry if I'm sounding rude or if I'm overreacting but my book "His Fallen Angel" is so special to me so I hate to see people coping what I love working on :(

AND THAT GOES FOR MY BOOKS NOW AND ANY OTHER BOOKS I WRITE IN THE FUTURE!

So the person who has copied my book's description, please I beg that you write a completely different description for your story. I don't want to have to ask you to take it down if it's something you're really wanting to write but if you plan on completely copying my work, I'll have no choice but to block you.

Once again, I'm so sorry to everyone for the scare, all I want is fairness.
