Rhea held her brother close, relaxing as she felt her other half within her reach. It was always exhilarating to meet again after a long period of time of being away from each other. Even after so many years, it was hard staying away from the other, the threats of the Moirai still hanging over them like a sword ready to drop.
They separated, looking at the other with smiles, not happy ones, as they realised that they were actually doing this, going into a war that had already started months ago, a war that had been in the making for eighty years with no one ever the wiser.
A light cough broke them out of their reverie, making their heads turn to look at the rest of the camp staring at them, Chiron looking extremely puzzled.
"Do you know each other?" Chiron asked, his voice still a bit high pitched.
Rhea and Percy tilted their heads to the right, looking at him with confusion.
"Yes."
"How?" The twins each raised a single eyebrow in disbelief.
Could he really not see the resemblance between them?
"We grew up together." Rhea said slowly, unsure of what to make of his reaction.
Chiron was frozen for a moment before he turned back and went in the direction of the Big House.
The twins watched him before turning to each other and shrugging.
Percy went and collected the suitcase, hauling it behind him as he and Rhea took off in the direction of the Hermes Cabin, Rhea acting as she asked him where they would be staying, and him replying, the roles they had practiced flowing with ease.
Hermes cabin was in a disarray when they reached, their eyebrows raised high as the cabin had a lot of campers running around and trying to arrange things, while a lot of them sat in the middle, forming a circle with Luke leading the meeting like they were King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table.
As soon as Rhea stepped foot in the cabin, silence ensued, their eyes turning towards her with open curiosity.
"Hi, I'm Rhea." She introduced herself, a small wave, her smile a bit too composed, her stature a bit too straight, like she was greeting those advisors she didn't like but was forced to greet.
She turned to him, a silent question as to where they would sleep, and Percy moved to where he was sleeping in the corner, with two walls cornering them, propping the suitcase against one side.
"Can they open it?" Fluent Latin spilling from Percy's mouth, stunning the others.
"Of course not, Dad would never let that happen, neither would Mama." She reassured him.
Percy nodded, opening a small part, not even wincing as a drop of blood was taken by pricking his finger to open the suitcase, and shoved the horn into it.
"Why didn't you use Anaklusmos?" She asked curiously.
"I like my spoils." Making Rhea smile in amusement.
They turned and left the cabin, meeting Annabeth outside, waiting for the two and numerous campers that were lurking around.
"Lia, this is Annabeth." He introduced, knowing that the blonde haired girl was too busy assessing his sister to introduce herself.
"Hi, I'm Rhea."
"Are you the one?"
"I beg your pardon?" Came Rhea's startled question, one that genuinely baffled her, no acting required.
