Percy would try to lie and tell his parents that the last few months after he faced The Fury were a breeze.

But he couldn't.

Not because it was morally wrong, but because his Dad and Mama were literal immortals who were masters at catching lies, and because his Mom would give him a look that was so understanding that he would have no choice but to tell her the truth.

So no, he wouldn't lie to his parents, nor would he try.

But the last few months had been absolute hell for him.

His father was fighting with his unfair uncle.

The weather was affecting both his and Rhea's mood, which made their moods even worse.

And while his current school focused on personalised learning and making the courses in a way that helped his ADHD and dyslexia, the weather was making it worse.

And he had thanked all the deities that existed for giving him teachers who understood he was going through a hard time and were patient with him.

So he was motivated enough to study for the exams and give them.

Before his last exam, Latin, he had waited until Grover had left to talk to Chiron to start an IM and ask his sister when she would meet him.

And she told him it would take a few days as the Camp was going through some things along with two Praetors who were going to leave in a year and a half and how they were choosing the one who would take their position and a bunch of other legal matters the camp had to deal with regarding the human world.

Talking for a few more moments before he went back to studying, he mentally ran over the plan he and Rhea had made.

'It was going to work.' He told himself.

'It had to.'

While Percy loved his current school, he was glad to see it end.

How he thought Yancy was bad when it was nearing holiday season was truly a wonder considering the wealth and connections of these kids?

He heard many boasting about their upcoming trip to the Mykonos or the Bahamas or Australia, and a little ugly monster inside of him boasted in his head how beautiful Atlantis was and how he was a Prince there.

It was interesting to indulge his schoolmates as they detailed out their plans to him.

But despite all of that, Percy was the most excited to see, even more than his mother, Rhea.

So he quickly loaded his stuff onto the bus going towards New York, and took his seat.

He pretended to be surprised when Grover arrived and sat next to him.

"You're going to New York, I thought you were going towards California after this." Percy asked, acting confused.

"There has been a change of plans from my folks. So New York it is." Grover shrugged innocently, and Percy pretended to understand as he nodded.

And then they sat in silence, Grover was fidgeting with his fingers, muttering in Greek as if trying to prepare a speech to give to Percy.

Percy decided to mess with him.

"Looking for Kindly Ones?" Percy asked, his eyebrow raised in perfect innocent curiosity.

Grover nearly jumped out of his seat. "Wha—what do you mean?"
