Chapter 14

Percy left his parents to discuss... whatever they wanted to discuss.

Honestly he couldn't be bothered by it, he had a twin to contact.

Taking a drachma he quickly sits in front of his table that gives way to sunlight and lightly uses his power to spray water and creates a rainbow.

"Oh Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering." Percy says and then tosses the currency into the rainbow.

"Rhea Jackson at Camp Jupiter, please." He says before watching how the image shimmers before showing Rhea standing beside her bed and packing clothes.

"Packing already? I thought you had a few days before you met me." Percy comments, before pouting at how he couldn't even get Rhea to flinch at the sudden call.

It was a constant competition between them about who could scare the other. Rhea was so quiet with her messages and sneak ups that she managed to scare all of them, even their dad.

"I'm leaving tomorrow, and then it will take me a day or two to come back home." She said, as she was putting her shoes in her suitcase.

"Yeah, you should come to Camp Half-Blood only. Grover's coming tonight. Also can you pack some of my clothes too. I don't know if it's luxury or the colour, but Camp's shirt was very itchy, plus neon orange was not my colour." After he said that, Percy had a horrified look on his face as Rhea turned to look at him in amusement.

"Dear Gods, I just talked like Mama Amphy talks about her clothes and fashion choices with you and mom." He lightly shuddered.

"We are not the only ones who talk about fashion, you know." Rhea said as she walked out of the small frame to get something from her cupboard, and started putting it on the other side of her suitcase, after taking out a few clothes.

"Triton loves his fashion, but he is not so much into it, so it's mainly you three, and dad just wears Mom and Mama give him... it's both adorable and a bit concerning for his image as King." Percy states matter of factly.

"...Right, anyways... Why'd you call? Was it because you wanted to talk to Reyna or Jason, because they are not here yet, as you can see?"

"Where are they?"

"Carmen wanted to discuss the arrangement they would follow for Praetor when I would leave for summers, and winters as well now." Percy let out a gasp of exaggerated excitement.

"YOU GOT SELECTED?" Rhea turned to smile brightly at him, knowing that even if she tried to downplay it, she was super happy about it.

"I GOT SELECTED, AND SO DID JASON !!!" And then both of them were squealing on call together like a bunch of teenagers that did not have the weight of the world on their shoulders.

"I'm so proud." Percy fake wiped a tear, but the bright glint in his eye reflected that despite the jokes and dramatics, he truly was proud. Rhea rolled her eyes, but the smile on her face never left as she saw how happy her twin was for her.

"So, how was today? Did you get to meet dad? Is he preparing for war?" Rhea asked, after a few moments of basking in the bubble of happiness and pride she and her brother were in.

"I called Dad, Triton and Mama via Blue cookies sacrifice." He started.

"I'm guessing they freaked out?" Rhea said as she shut her suitcase tightly and then leaned on it to look at Percy.

"Big time, Mama was shaking, but it was important. So after they calmed down I told them about everything, I mean I told mom before them, but then I retold them the story. So after the main part, I told them about how you and I saw the fates cut the string."
