"How about Master Damian gives Miss Marinette a tour of the manor as I finalise preparations for afternoon tea, which will give you and young master time to catch up Gina" Alfred spoke, voice fond as smiled to friend sharing what one could almost place as a look of mischief.

But that thought was quickly dismissed by Bruce after all this was Alfred Pennyworth he was not one to cause chaos if anything he typically deterred it amongst his children.

Damian stood back watching as Pennyworth and father gathered the rest of his siblings towards one of the many sitting rooms. Leaving Marinette and himself standing in the foyer unsure of how to proceed.

Almost cautiously Damian turned to Marinette; she had yet to make a statement of her own, only offering a smile when introduced.

Should he acknowledge her as he'd do over the phone?

Should he tell her that he knew it was her? The questions fluttered in his head each leading to further questions that could risk identity. Like how he knew of her appearance beforehand.

Finally he settled on waiting. She must have been tired from her flight and overwhelming her now with this sudden outburst of information seemed a bad idea considering he didn't want to upset her.

"If you'll follow me," he finally said and the two walked side by side with Damian pointing out different rooms and mentioning the many details of the manor and its past.

Information he saw her absorb taking in his words with intrigue occasionally asking follow up questions.

As Damian led the tour he'd turn taking in glances of her, how she was much quieter in person and more reserved overall. Was it the new location? Or the flurry of people that had brought on this shyness.

His mind buzzed with questions and a feeling of nervousness and unease at how he'd have to reveal himself as her. Instead he turned to glance at her with fascination.

Marinette's eyes tended to wander scanning every detail of each room, an assumption he based on her being a designer and prior designs she'd sent him each filled with intricate details shrouded in intention to tell a greater story.

The pair paused upon entering the family room when a faint purring sound was heard. The spacious room was filled with couches and bean bags all circling the large fireplace attached to the furthest wall. Which was currently lit with a small cat basking in its warmth.

"That is my cat Alfred" Damian spoke watching the recognition dawn on her face as she took in his words and the appearance of the cat who'd now turned to face them.

"Do you have other pets?" Marinette asked hesitantly, turning towards him, waiting for his answer though she had a feeling she knew exactly what his next words were going to be.

"I do theres-"

"Finally, I've been looking for you two, Alfred wants us all in the family room for tea" Tim spoke before turning to Marinette

"I hope demon spawn hasn't driven you mad yet, so what do you think of Wayne Manor so far?" he asked as he watched Damian scowl at the nickname.

"It's gorgeous and has such a unique history" she spoke following Tim as they walked out of the room.

Though it had been confirmed that Damian Wayne was the very Damian she had been talking to mere hours prior. Though whether or not he knew who she was yet to be determined though she was almost certain he'd known since her name had been first said.

Over the course of afternoon tea she caught Damian glancing her way on several occasions, with their eyes catching for a few seconds before they broke away returning to their own conversations.

Marinette had enjoyed getting to know each of the brothers except Damian who'd she still hadn't spoken to since their previous conversation but she learnt that Dick was quite the acrobat and was more than willing to teach her some tricks.

Jason was quite sarcastic and had a great interest in the classics and was apparently rereading Frankenstein. Tim was incredibly smart and was a teenage CEO which was impressive he had a hobby of photography.

Though what had caught her attention was her nonna and Alfred, whatever they had been discussing had led them to occasionally look in her and Damian's direction though she had begun to think she was imagining it.

Finally seated in what would be her temporary room for her time in the manor she laid down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling as a familiar blob of pink made an appearance.

She'd been

She didn't know how to feel about the revelation of Damian, what she did know was Alfred's food was delicious, which she grabbed from her purse, she'd taken some for Tikki and was sure she wouldn't be disappointed.

"So what are you going to do now Marinette?" Tikki questioned seated on Marinette's pillow

"I don't know," she spoke staring out the window of her room.

"Are you happy that's Damian?"

"Yes, he's the exact same as when we talked, he's genuinely honest about what he thinks and actually does talk like some Victorian era child"

"But?" the kwami asked

"Does he want to acknowledge it or does he just think its a coincidence that we have the same name"

"From your previous conversations it's obvious he cares for your feelings maybe he wanted to wait to be sure than confirm it with you"

Marinette nodded at the thought, it would make sense Damian was a logical person and they had never seen each other.

Knock, knock

The sound made her freeze. Who would be at her door now?

"Marinette are you awake?"
