2nd Night: The New Transfer Student

My parents and Masato were waiting for me in front of the door. Finally, I get to leave this boring place. It was a nice and clear evening and the moon was shining brightly in the sky.

"Mitsuki, are you sure you are ready to leave this house? It's been two years." My mother said.

Damn ready I am.

"Yep. I'm good to go, Mother." I said excitedly.

We stepped out of the Kobayashi Mansion and a breeze of fresh air passed. It felt so good. We then got in the car and we made our way to Cross Academy.

*One hour into the ride*

Cross Academy was already in view. I can't wait to meet new friends. Although I am going to miss my best friends Kyoko and Kaoru from Moon Academy, but they told me that they would come visit from time to time. Finally, we arrived to Cross Academy! My parents and Masato dropped me off, and I said goodbye to them. I then passed the gates and when I saw the school, I loved it!

"Wow, this school looks ten times bigger and better than the Moon Academy!" I continued to walk until I reached the Headmaster's office.

I then knocked on the door.

"Cooooome inn!" A cheerful voice said from behind the door.

Is it just me, or does this headmaster sound a bit too cheerful? I then entered the office. The headmaster looked like a very happy and optimistic guy, he wore glasses, wore a ponytail.. You don't see that everyday... Then there was a girl with short brown hair and brown eyes, and a straight faced guy with white hair and lavender eyes. Boy, is he giving me a dirty stare.

"Welcome, welcome to Cross Academy, Miss Kobayashi! I am the Headmaster, Kaien Cross! And this is my son and daughter, Zero and Yuki! They are what make the Disciplinary Committee!"

Seriously, there's like only two of them? Wow... I then introduced myself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Mitsuki Kobayashi!" I said, cheerfully.

Yuki cheerfully introduced herself, but Zero... Not a word.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Headmaster? I'm not your son!" He said in an annoyed tone,

Then the Headmaster started "crying" in a weird way, and said, "How mean, Kiryu-kun!"

Ok.. This is getting kind of awkward.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Kobayashi-san, Zero is always like this with me.. Anyways, Night Classes have just ended, so you will get your uniform tomorrow night. Yuki here will escort you to the Moon Dormitory."

Yes! I don't have to go to boring classes today!

"Ok, thanks!" I said.

Yuki then led me out of the office and took me to the Moon Dormitory. This girl... She's human and she's not scared of vampires? Wow, this girl may look innocent, but she has guts. She then started a conversation.

"So, what do you think of Cross Academy, Mitsuki?" Yuki said,

"It's really nice. Better than my other school." It really is a nice school. Moon Academy wasn't like this at all.

"Really? What school were you at before here?"

"I was at Moon Academy, an all-vampire school. But it wasn't as interesting anymore, so I changed."

Had to lie. Obviously could not tell her the real reason why.

"You going to love this school and the Dorm President and the Vice Dorm President are very kind."
