8th Night: I Will Always Be Here For You

              "I knew I would find you here, Buttercup..." Rido appeared before Masato and I while we went to go see Mother.

Masato looked extremely angry. "You just won't give up, won't you Rido?"

Rido sneered. "I won't give up until your precious little sister becomes mine..."

I then stepped forward, and said, "The answer is no, and it will always be. I hate you. You took away my mother and my brother all for your simple amusement! But this is going to end. I will annihilate you!"

As I prepared to fight Rido, Masato stepped in front of me protectively. "Mitsuki, leave. I will take care of this. Once I weaken him, I'll be right behind you."

Why does he have to be like this? Him and his righteous behavior. "But I want to fight as well! This is my fight too!"

But Masato has a resolved look on his face. "Mitsuki, It isn't your time to fight yet. Your time will come soon. You just have to save all the power you have to defeat him. So go now!"

I then resolved to just let Masato fight and walked away. But Rido came behind me, so I used my powers to keep him in place. "Why don't you stay here for a while, Rido?"

I then pulled him against a tree. No matter how many times he used his powers to escape, he couldn't come out.

"Let's go, Masato. This won't last for long."

"And here I thought I was gonna handle this.." He said.

"Sooorry.. Maybe next time for you." Rido looked at me with an evil smile, even if he wasn't able to move.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. I will find a way to make you mine...." I ignored him and Masato and I left the Kobayashi family's burial grounds.

*Kaname's POV*

Class was to start in an hour. I sat at my desk, reading my book. At that same time I heard Hanabusa and Akatsuki talking. "You seriously need to put your feelings for Mitsuki aside, Hanabusa. The Dorm President will get mad if he finds out you love her."

I heard Akatsuki say. I have always known since we were children. He made it so obvious.

"As children, Mitsuki-chan has always been by my side. We studied together, we played together, and did many other things. That all changed when Lord Kaname came. Every time we went to play, Mitsuki-chan always invited him to play with us, and I never was able to confess to her. By the last day we saw her, she had already fallen in love with him! Ugh! If I wasn't so shy in the past, then I would have been able to..."

Akatsuki then interrupted him.

"Enough, Hanabusa. It's too late to be with her now..."

That is what I heard. I didn't get in their way. She befriended me as I did as well. We became really close, and we fell in love with each other. As I looked through the window, I thought about my precious Mitsuki. Her beautiful smile and her kind and gentle personality makes me fall in love with her even more. At the side of my desk, I had a picture of me, Hanabusa, Takuma, Mitsuki, Masato, and her youngest brother Kaito. She's gone through a lot, and there is still more for her to come. I have to protect her, no matter what. I sense like Rido is going to go up to the extremes to make Mitsuki his. But I'm not going to let it happen.

Mitsuki is my precious rose, and I'm not going to let anything happen to her. Then I looked at the clock and I saw that it was almost time for class. I got my books together and prepared to go downstairs. I walked down the hallway from my office. As I was walking down the stairs to the main living room, I saw that all the Night Class students were standing around, waiting to leave. When they saw me, they bowed.
