19th Night: The World of Nightmares

*Mitsuki's PoV*
Where am I? Why am I dressed like this? This is.. The mansion that Rido attacked and Kaito was killed. Why am I here? I walked around, looking at the destroyed residence. I see a bloody Kaito appear before me, with his hand reaching out for me.

"Mitsuki... Save me!" As I tried to grab his hand, he faded into dust.

"It's your fault, Mitsuki, you're a terrible person. You only think about your happiness, and not others..." Kaito said as his voice echoed through the wind.

Why is this happening to me? What did I do wrong? My purpose was to save you, Kaito. I never wanted this to happen... As I walked inside the ruins of the mansion, I come across a black rose that was still on a vase.

"It still looks beautiful.. huh..."

I took the black rose. Even though it erases one's memories, it smells good.. I took the rose and continued walking. I continued walking in the ruins until I come across a chair. I used to sit here and read Kaito his favorite book. Then as I looked at the chair that had memories between Kaito and I, another voice echoed throughout the sky.

"Mitsuki... I have to tell you something." I saw Kaname standing in front of me with a blank expression. I was going to run to hug Kaname, but he stopped me.

"Kaname...why?"

"Mitsuki..I'm sorry. I played you. You were part of my plan to protect Yuki... The truth is I still love Yuki.. I can't get over her."

I began to see Kaname walk in the distance.

"Wait, Kaname! What are you talking about?! What about Koichi?!" He didn't listen he just kept walking. I bent down on the ground. "Even if this is an illusion, it feels real.. I want to get out of here..

I opened my eyes only to find myself in a cell, held down in shackles. I feel so weak emotionally. I laid my head against the cold walls of the cell.

"Everything.. Is my fault. It all makes sense. That's why Kaname left.. That's why Kaito died.. I shouldn't have never been born in this world..."

"That's right, Mitsuki. It's all your fault. You caused all of this." Rido said, smirking at me.

Whatever... I don't care what happens to me anymore..

"What do you want, Rido? What is your plan for me this time?" I said.

"He unlocked the lock of the cell and came in.

"Your face, sweetie.. Is all red. Did you cry that much? I was right to bring you down here, where there is no windows." He then came down to my level.

"I told you.. This is your reality. Now..." He began to bring himself to my neck.

"No... Stop.." He continued to smirk and chuckled silently.

He then whispered, "Once I bite you, Mitsuki.. You will become my precious puppet, and you will become a prisoner of your own nightmares..." As Rido approached me, my eyes glowed red and I made blood spurt out of his shoulder, and pushed him against the wall. He then approached me once again, holding his shoulder.

"Someone's biting back. I'm surprised, with the state of mind you are in."

"Leave me alone. Go away." I laid my head back into the wall. I had bags under my eyes with the lack of sleep that I've been having. He then held my chin up.

"I am one of those nightmares of yours. I am the source of your misery. I won't go away, because I want to see you miserable. I knew that Kaname was going to go after me prior to my awakening. So I decided to awaken earlier to come and get you while Kaname wasn't around you. Plus.. I know of the blood bond that you and Kaname made. I promise to protect and love you for all eternity. Something like that? Well, he broke half the promise, meaning his powers are going to weaken and he is going to be vulnerable to some things like the sun, for instance. Usually, we Purebloods don't mind the sun, but it's going to affect him more. Also, the blood of yours that is within him will weaken him more. Every time you suffer or cry, your blood will begin to boil inside of him, and his attacks will be weaker."
