#94- They Haven't Seen You In Years And Ask You Out Again
Not related to the previous chapter!
Ashton: It was that time of the week again: grocery shopping. It wasn't your favorite thing to do, but your roommate had done it last time so it was up to you. Looking down at your shopping list and back to the spices, you heard the clang of buggies and felt yours being pushed back into you. Darting your eyes up to see what asshole had hit your cart, you see Ashton. You hadn't spoken to him since High school, after you two broke up. "Y/N, hey!" He looks happy to see you, and you smile. You two talk for a little, and you ask how the band is and he tells you it's going well. "I'm not going to be in town for long, and I was just curious, are you busy tomorrow night?" You shake your head and he smiles a little again. "How about we go see a movie then?" "That sounds nice, Ashton." He gives you the time and place and his number, and bids goodbye as you go back to shopping.
Luke: It was your daily routine to stop at Starbucks for coffee when you had a rough day at work. To you, nothing tasted better than a caramel frappe after the hell you endured at work. Relaxing into one of the plush booths, you pull out your laptop and open a work document. Take home worked sucked, but you had to get it done. Fifteen minutes later, another cup sets itself down on the table and you look up, seeing Luke. "Y/N?" He asks. "Luke?" When was the last time you spoke to him? Ninth or tenth grade, you figure. "Mind if I sit?" You scoot and make room for him. You two catch up a bit and drink your coffee, and then he asks you something else. "How about next time you want coffee, or dinner, I pay for it?" "Mr. Hemmings, are you asking me on a date?" You playfully push him and he smiles. "I suppose I am, if the answer is yes." You accept his offer and trade numbers and make a date, happy to have an end to a less than good day.
Michael: A friend of yours was throwing a party, you were having a great time, until you got shoved and bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry!" You apolgize, the guy turning around having a surprised look. "Y/N? It's me, Michael!" You hadn't spoken to him since you broke up in tenth grade, and you were shocked to see him here. "Oh, hey, you died your hair again!" He grabs your hand and leads you outside and you two take a seat on the porch. You two talk about how your lives have been since highschool and then he asks. "So, still single?" "Why do you ask?" "I just need to know if there's going to be anyone that's going to kick my ass if I ask you out for a coffee date." You laugh, he always had a way of making you smile. "No, and yes, I'd like that." You give him your number and set a date.
Calum: With the weather being so nice, you thought it would be a good idea to take your dog for a walk in the park. You noticed a guy there with his dog and he kept looking at you. He didn't look all that familiar, but then he called out your name. Jogging over to you, he smiled. "Y/N! Don't you remember me?" You pause for a moment. "Calum? I didn't recognize you with your highlighted hair!" He laughs. You two used to date, but sort of just mutually ended things when you got to highschool. After talking for a few minutes, he asks. "Hey, it's been forever since I've seen you, how about we have dinner?" You agree, exchanging numbers and looking forward to dinner with him.
