#148- He Fights With One of the Other Boys Because They Make a Move On You

Ashton: You moved your beach chair to under the umbrella, having enough of the sun. "Tired, Babe?" Ashton asked. "Just a little. I'm pretty hungry, though," you told him. "Lunch sounds awesome right now," Luke commented from his chair. "Want to go find a place to grab something for everyone?" Calum asked you. You smiled and nodded, standing up and throwing your coverup on over your bathing suit. You two began to walk away from the rest of the group and quickly found a place to order from. "I haven't been to the beach in so long," you said, observing the tan already forming on your arms. "Me neither, it's nice." A group of boys came into the shop as you were waiting for your order to come, and began poking fun at you. "Hey, back off," Calum warned, grabbing the food and practically dragging you out. "Thanks. Ashton would've just threw a punch," you joked. Calum didn't laugh though, just smiled a little. You reached the boys and handed out their orders, quickly taking off your cover up. The same group of boys as before walked by and whistled at you, winking and such. Ashton stood up, but you put your hands on his chest, begging him to leave it alone. Thankfully, he did, but was still riled up when Calum chuckled to himself. "What?" Ashton practically spat. "Nothing, just that I handled them a lot better when we were in the shop," he shrugged. Ashton went to walk over to Calum but you kept a grip on him. "Why don't you keep your comments to your own friggin' relationship," Ashton raised his voice. "Don't get mad that she liked how I handled it better than you." "I'm going to give you one more chance to shut up," Ashton warned. You stepped in front of him and grabbed his face, making him look right at you. "Stop. It's alright," you said quietly. The quick breaths coming from his nose slowed down as he nodded. "Come sit by me."

Luke: You stumbled down the stairs in shorts and a sweater, looking as disgusting as you felt. "Hey, Y/N, how are you feeling?" Ashton asked you from the couch. "Aw, is the princess sick?" Michael teased. You scowled and walked into the kitchen to get water. "Come here, boo." You walked into Luke's arms and he eased you down onto the couch. "I'll go get you some Advil," he said. You weakly smiled at him and curled your knees up to your chest. Michael slung his arm around your shoulder and you shivered a bit, snuggling into him. "That fever's pretty bad, huh?" he put his hand to your forehead as you nodded. He rubbed your arm and rocked you back and forth a bit. Luke walked back into the room and looked a little confused. "Let's get you back to bed," he suggested. Once you were back in bed you still heard the boys downstairs. "I think I can take care of my own girlfriend," Luke said. "Obviously not," Michael teased. "Just leave it alone, alright? Let me take care of her," Luke said aggressively. More aggressively than you had ever heard him speak. "Alright, just back off," Michael defended. "Back off my girlfriend," Luke fought back. "I wouldn't have to if you actually looked after her," he snapped. "Of course I take care of her!" Meekly, you walked into the hallway. "Luke, can you come here for a second?" you were desperate to get him away from the argument. "Yeah, Y/N, anything you need."

Michael: You angrily looked at yourself in the mirror, trying to decide which dress to wear to a party that you were going to tonight. Your bedroom door opened and Calum and Ashton walked inside. "Hey, Y/N, you look nice," they complimented. You thanked them, but picked up the dress that was on your bed. "Do you think this one will look better?" you asked. "You'll look fine in anything," Michael said, walking into the room. "I can't decide which one is nicer," you groaned. "I like the one you're wearing, it's classier," Ashton offered. "See, he's helpful," you said to the other two boys. "I'm helpful," he said, certainly on his high horse. "Yeah, but she's my girlfriend, so I win," Michael wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your cheek. "I don't know, man, in that dress I don't know if she will be for long," Ashton winked. You rolled your eyes at the older boy, going to touch up your hair for the party. "I don't appreciate those comments, Ashton," Michael said. Your ears perked up at his uneasy tone, hoping that they would just both let it go. "I'm just trying to give her a compliment. Nothing wrong with telling a beautiful girl that she's beautiful," Ashton shrugged, still feeling a little cocky. "Dude, seriously," Michael warned yet again. "Something wrong?" you popped your head out from the bathroom and saw Luke look at you a little uneasily. "Michael," you called to him. "Just know your boundaries," he walked over to you and you dragged him inside of the bathroom, shutting the door. "Behave, please. For me," you begged. "Well when he says stuff like that it makes me mad," he grumbled. "Don't get mad. Just refocus the energy on me," you smiled. "I'm always focused on you."

Calum: "Don't you dare," you smiled at Calum. He threateningly walked towards you with his hands stretched out. "I told you that if you didn't help me with the dishes I'd get you," he lunged towards you and began to tickle your sides, landing you both on the bed. "Calum, stop!" you shrieked. "Don't fear, Y/N, I'm here to save the day!" Luke burst into the room and Calum rolled off of you. You sat up and fixed your shirt, catching your breath. "Hey," you smiled, getting up to greet him. "The guys are downstairs," he said. Calum gave him a quick hug before going downstairs to see the rest of the boys. "Hey, wait up a second," Luke said before you had the chance to leave. "What's up, is everything alright?" you were concerned for him. "Yeah, everything's fine. I'm just a little worried about you," he admitted. "Why?" you were sure you had pure confusion written all over your face. "Is everything alright with you and Calum? It just seems that lately you two aren't very-" "Everything is fine. Why did he say anything to you?" you were worried, now. "No!" he said quickly. "I just," he sighed and his eyes flashed towards your lips before he moved a little closer. "Woah, Luke," you pushed him back and the door swing open. "What the hell?" Your eyes snapped towards Calum and he stalked towards Luke. "Are you serious right now?" he looked almost amused, like he didn't believe what he was seeing. "Get out," he demanded. "Calum, let's talk about it," you suggested. "Get out of my house before I do something I'm going to regret," he belted, completely ignoring you. "I-I'm sorry," Luke stuttered, fleeing towards the door. "If you so much as look at her again I'll end you!" he yelled at his retreating figure. "Did he touch you?" he growled. "No, I swear," you said quickly. He wrapped his arms around you and sighed. "Don't you dare go near him again."
