#146- He Thinks You're Too Good For Him

Ashton: He dragged you out of the store by your wrist, slamming the door. "Ow! Ashton, what's going on?" He immediately let you go, guilt clouding his conscience. He had seen your ex from across the store, staring at you longingly, and he was ridiculously jealous. "I know my ex was there, but God, I love you, not him!" Ashton's head dropped to his chest, "Sorry." Frustrated, you ran a hand through your hair.
"What's going on with you?" He snuck a glance through the glass door of the store, examining your ex self-consciously. "I don't deserve you," He said finally, words falling from his lips like rocks. You fell into awkward silence. Ashton continued, "I'll probably never compare to him, will I? I've heard you talk about him to Lukje, about your old dates and stuff. Maybe you should go back to him; you're too perfect for me." You stared at him disbelievingly. "Are you serious?" He flinched.

"Just because he had some good date ideas doesn't forgive the fact that he cheated on me! Ashton, I love you more than I ever could with him. Please don't ever think you aren't good enough, because you are." A smile appeared on Ashton's face. "Well, let's go finish shopping... And make him a little jealous." You left the store later on laughing loudly.

Luke: You were at the town's local carnival with your boyfriend Luke, and the rest of the boys. Luke looked on uncomfortably as you laughed at another one of Michael's jokes. You pulled him away, getting distracted by a lit up water fountain in the center of everything. "Y/N..." Luke gulped, staring at your illuminated face. You snuggled into his arms affectionately, "Yeah?"
"Why are you dating me?" He blurted out. You backed away, confused and slightly hurt. "I mean... why are you with me when you can be dating someone much better looking and funnier who isn't socially awkward..." He blabbered on for a few more seconds, pointing out some of his flaws, until you seized his face and pressed your lips to his. He didn't respond for a few seconds, but then he melted into the kiss, arms placed around your hips.

You pulled away, leaning your forehead on his. "Luke Robert Hemmings. Don't you ever say anything like that about yourself, ever. There's no other boy that'd I'd ever want to be with." Luke's face erupted into a cheeky grin, and he joined your lips again.

Michael: You were scrolling through your Tumblr, Michael sitting at the seat across from you, reading a magazine. Suddenly, he threw the magazine across the room, it hitting the wall with a loud smack. You looked over, worried. His head was in his hands, gripping his hair in an effort to get them to stop shaking. "Michael? Are you okay?" He motioned to the article soundlessly.
Nervously, you gave him one last glance before picking up the magazine, skimming through it. You sighed. It was yet another article by the paparazzi, complaining about Michael's style and how he looked like a useless dropout. You were used to this kind of stuff, but you thought he ignored it.

"You should go find a boyfriend who isn't an ugly dropout, Y/N," Michael said bitterly, stiffly leaning back into the chair. You crossed the room, plopping yourself down in his lap. "Michael, they don't know a damn thing about you. I could care less what they think about you; all I need to know is that I love you. End of story." He looked up, blue eyes shining. "God, I love you," His lips found yours, and he stood up, placing you on the counter. The magazine across the room lay untouched, completely forgotten.

Calum: Calum fumbled with the edge of his shirt, watching as you made popcorn for the movie with Ashton, and you giggled for the fourth time at something he said. Eventually, you all settled down for the movie. Ashton stopped to go to the bathroom at the halfway point, leaving you and Calum alone. You noticed the awkward look on his face. "Is everything alright, Cal?"
He bit his lip. "Do you ever wish you were dating someone like Ashton? You know, all muscly and strong and stuff..." You giggled. "Calum, you are muscly and strong." He still looked uncomfortable, "No! Just someone with a bigger build, you know..."
You pulled Calum into a hug, nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck. "Calum, I love you. And I fell in love with you based on, well, you, regardless if you looked like a model or not. Which you do anyways." You gave him a mischievous smile, "And personally, I love your body."

Ashton walked back in the room, cheeks bright red as Calum's shirt barely missed his face, your sweater following soon after.
