Last Day In China

The next morning, we slept in. I tossed and turned trying to stay asleep but couldn't manage too so, I got up and went to take a shower. After my shower, I braided my hair and brushed my teeth then when I was done in the bathroom, I walked out into the room and saw Hunter sitting in the bed with tired morning eyes and his shaggy bed head. I smiled at how cute he looked just sitting there, looking back at me. "Why are you smiling like that for?" He asked with a smirk on his face. " Nothing, you just look so cute with your shaggy bed head." I said feeling the blood rush to my cheeks making me blush. Hunter got out of bed and went to get dressed. I sat on the bed waiting for him so that we could go eat breakfast together. Hunter came out of the bathroom and grabbed his wallet then, we went down to the diner and sat at a table for two that was right in front of a huge window facing a beautiful lake. Then I heard a familiar voice " Aww they look so cute." I looked over my shoulder and saw Cali, Sophie, Jack and Brent standing behind me. I turned around and said " Well, if it isn't miss Cal and miss Soph with the boys." They laughed "Hey guys, how was your breakfast?" Hunter asked " It was good, now we're just going to walk the street for a while before we come back and get ready to go for today's activities." Brent said, just then Jack started looking around. " J, what are you looking for?" Hunter asked taking notice. Then Jack replied "Just wondering where Mina and Justin are since they aren't here." Cali, Sophie and I rolled our eyes and then Sophie said " Jack, they aren't morning people, remember!" Jack stopped looking around as we all laughed. " Oh." He said then Cali grabbed his hand as he intertwined their fingers together and Brent did the same with Sophie. " Well, we will let you guys enjoy your breakfast now, we'll see you in a bit." Cali said as they started walking away. We said bye and then the waiter came with our food.

While we were eating breakfast, Mina and Justin came in and sat at the table that was diagonally across from our, Mina noticed me and waved I returned her wave with a smile then went back to eating. I noticed Hunter was looking at me. "What?" I asked curious to know what was going through his head. " Nothing." Was his reply, I smiled and then took a bite of my toast, he smirked and I asked him again " Why are you looking at me like that for?" He laughed and said " Because, you're beautiful and always will be beautiful in my eyes no matter what." I smiled as a tear rolled down my cheek, Hunter took his finger and wiped the tear away and grabbed my hand. After we were done eating, the waiter brought our bill and Hunter paid, then we left and went for a walk down by the lake. After that, we headed back to the hotel to meet up with everyone else.

Once we got back, we went to our rooms to grab our backpacks and whatever else we needed for the day. Then, we got in the van and drove to our first destination where the boys would spend the afternoon. As they got out of the car, they told us to have fun and then one by one gave their love a kiss. " Have fun fishing boys!" We all said then I added "And Hunter, don't jump in the water to swim with the fish!" Everyone laughed at me and then Cali said " Yeah and that goes for you too Jack!" The boys rolled their eyes and left then we drove off to the peony garden where we would be having tea in the traditional Chinese clothing for women. " I can't wait to wear the traditional dress and have my hair done up !" Sophie said. We soon arrived at the garden and got out of the car then, four ladies handed us each a dress and we went to get changed. After that we each sat in a chair as we let them do our hair and once they were done, the girls and I got together and took pictures and then followed one of the ladies out into a beautiful peony garden where there was a little table set up with five tea cups. " Wow, this is beautiful, we're right by the river." Mina said as we looked around us. Then we sat down as the lady poured us some tea. "Thank you" We would say one after the other, we started drinking our tea and told stories about our favorite memories from being here. " Mine was watching Jack go crazy when we met Jackie Chan." Cali said, we laughed and then there was an awkward moment of silence before it was my turn. " Mads, what are you thinking about?" Mina asked me, I snapped out of my thoughts and came back to reality. " Oh um, nothing." I replied as I noticed that Mina and Cali saw me thinking. " You're thinking about Hunter again aren't you?" Cali asked me. I shook my head and then shared my favorite memory from being here. " I think my favorite memory from being in China was getting to cook one of my favorite Chinese dishes with a professional chef." They all smiled and then we continued talking.

Hours had passed and soon we went back to the hotel. We got in the van and the boys were already picked up. " Hey girls, how was your day?" They all asked we all smiled and replied "it was pretty relaxed how bout you guys?" We said. The guys laughed and Mina said " Oh boy, this better be good!" We looked at her then back to the boys who had smirks on their faces all except Justin. " What did you three do now?" I asked as everyone laughed. " We did exactly what you and Cali told us not to do, jump in the water." Hunter replied. Mina and Justin laughed. " An exactly why did you guys jump in?" Cali asked then there was a long moment of silence. " Well we didn't exactly jump in. We got pulled in." Brent said as Mina laughed. " How big was the fish?" Sophie asked. The guys looked at each other and shrugged. We laughed and went back to the hotel. Once we got back, we ordered dinner and it got delivered to the hotel. Everyone sat in our room as we all ate dinner together. " Umm... Guys? How do we use chop sticks?" Mina asked. I laughed and everyone looked at me. " What? It's kinda funny." I said then I showed her how to use them. After we were done eating dinner, we just sat and talked for a few hours and then went to bed early since we leave at 3 Am to go to Japan tomorrow. I laid down in bed and soon my eyes started to get heavy and before they fully closed, I felt Hunter's arms wrap around me and last thing I heard was                 " Goodnight Mads."
