Followed

A few days ago, we were in Australia on the beach where Hunter proposed to me on the beach and now, we are in the beautiful country of Scotland. We were on our way to some of my family friends where we would stay during our visit in the land of the Scottish when we passed by the Loch Ness waters. When we arrived at the Murphy's place, they were standing in the driveway greeting us, we all got out of the car as Brent and Jack helped the driver get the luggage out of the back, we looked around and took in the huge hard with two small chalets near the house and a small pond surrounded by trees. "Maddie, nice to see you again!" Mandy said hugging me. "Nice to see you guys too! " I replied. We all went inside and sat down in the living room. " Anyone like a cup of tea or coffee?" Jessica asked walking in the room with a huge smile on her face, I stood up, walked over and hugged her. "Hey! Long time no see!" I said pulling her in for a hug.

I introduced her and her family to my friends and then she showed us to our chalets. " Okay, so here are the chalets you guys will be staying in for a few days. Feel free to check them out." Damian said opening the door to the cabin we stopped in front of. We walked in and took in the beautiful but old look of the cabin that was warm. When my eyes stopped on a window, I could have sworn to have saw something, like a person's shadow. I guessed I gasped loudly and went to run out of the room because, I found myself running into Hunter's chest. " Mads, what's wrong?" He asked as I looked up frightened and then replied " I...I thought I saw a person in the window but...I must be seeing things." He wrapped me in his warm embrace and told me everything was fine.

A couple hours later, Hunter, Jack, Cali and I walked the grounds. " Hey Gem... Are you okay?" Cali asked giving a concerned look. I looked into the distance " Ye...Yeah, I mean I guess...I guess I'm just paranoid since that day." I said referring to the day Sophie and I got kidnapped. Just then, we heard a bloody murder kind of scream, Brent came running down the hill and yelled "Guys,Guys!!! Sophie has gone missing!" Cal looked at me and I said "I knew it! I knew someone was following us! My paranoia wasn't paranoia at all, it was my gut telling me Sophie and I were being followed." Everyone looked at me and didn't say a word and then, Brent guided us to where both him and Sophie had been before the kidnapping. "Okay, we were sitting right here on this rock, I left to go help Damian with something and when I came back..." He left a long pause and tears filled his eyes, Justin patted his back and then Jack asked "You came back and what Brent?" He looked up and replied "Well, I heard her scream and I came back but... She was gone." By then, everyone was searching for Sophie on the grounds of the Murphy's yard, I stayed inside with Jessica and Cali while everyone went out to search. Hunter walked through the door and I stood up hoping for some good news. "Find her yet?" Mina asked but all Hunter did was shake his head and continued walking towards me, he hugged me and held on tighter than usual. I broke the silence and Said " I want to help." He pulled away from the hug and asked "Help with what?" Even though he knew what I was talking about, but wanted me to say it. " I want to help find Sophie. Because I think I know who took her." I replied as silence filled the room for a long while. " Maddie, I know you want to help but, it's too dangerous out there for you. I've lost you once already and I don't want to lose you again." He replied as I fought back tears that wanted to be let go of. I gathered my thoughts " Hunter, I... I have to help! What if something bad happens to her while I'm just sitting here, doing nothing! Or even worse, what if when you guys find her and she's already dead?!?" I yelled letting my tears of anger and sadness roll down my cheeks. He looked at Mina and Jessica who were shaking their heads to signal him to let me help then he replied "Fine but I'm not letting you out of my sight, If you're going to help, you're staying with me and Jack and that way, I'll know your safe."
