The next morning, we woke up at 6:30 AM and got dressed in a pair of sports shorts and a tee then, we grabbed our phones, chargers , wallets, room keys and the camera before going our separate ways to get all dulled up for the Jack and Cali's big day. As we stepped out of our room, Max stepped out of his across the hall along with his dad. "Morning guys" Max said as Mr. Cameron turned and waved at us. "Morning" Hunter and I said in unison as we walked towards the elevator. Once the doors opened, the four of us stepped into the elevator and pushed the button for the floors we needed to get off at. Once the elevator started going and reached the 10th floor, I stepped off and said bye to the boys before joining Cali and the rest of the ladies in the banquet room they had reserved for the bridesmaids. "Hey ladies!" I said placing my stuff on the dresser and hugging them. "Ah my maid of honour has arrived!" Cali said as she hugged me then handed me a robe that had Maid of honour dazzled on the back. I went over and sat down in the chair waiting for the makeup artist to start getting me all dulled up, as I waited I engaged in conversation with Cali and her mom. "So honey, how are you feeling about walking down the aisle today?" her mom asked as Cali blushed and took a huge gulp. "Well, if we're being honest, I'm extremely nervous but also happy and excited." She replied as Jenna sat in the seat between them and hugged Cali.
After my makeup was finished, the hair stylist started to put our hair in the updos Cali had chosen for each individual. Even though they were all similar there was still a little bit of a twist to each. "Alright Cali, you're all done!" The hairstylist said as she added the finishing touches to her beautiful ponytail that fell into loose curls. "Oh my gosh baby you look beautiful!" Cali's mom said as tears started to fill he eyes. Cali looked in the mirror admiring her wedding day look as a huge smile spread across her face. "Alright, you're all done" The hairstylist said to me as I looked into the mirror. "Thank you it looks beautiful." I replied before getting up and going to see the other girls who were drinking a glass of champaign waiting for Jenna to get her hair done.
"Alright ladies, I'm going to ask you to step out the sliding door here and we're going to take pictures on the beach." The photographer said as we all followed her out the door and through a mini forest path. As we were walking through the forest, the photographer instructed us to stop and placed us each behind a palm tree trunk looking out towards Cali who was standing on the path holding her hand out towards the camera to show her ring. Then we took another picture in the same places except this time, everyone was looking at the camera. "Okay perfect, now we're going to take a couple pictures on the beach." We followed the path down to the beach and then the photographer lined us up with Cali in the middle we took a picture of everyone jumping up in the air looking out towards the water as the camera lady snapped a picture of the back of our robes. We then took a few more pictures before we went back inside to get into our dresses for Jack and Cali's big day.
"This is it Cali, time to get the show on the road!" Her mom said as everyone left to get into their places for the ceremony. "Mom don't cry, you're going to make me cry and ruin my makeup." Cali said as everyone else laughed before leaving Cali with her mom so they could have a mother daughter moment before the ceremony begins. "Ah there they are!" Jack said as we met the boys at the double doors that lead to the ceremony venue on the beach. The music started to play as both doors opened revealing Jack ready to walk down the aisle. Once Jack got half way to the front, the groomsmen escorted the bridesmaids to the front to await Cali's entrance. I looked over towards the boys to see Hunter placing a hand on Jack's shoulder as Jack looked anxiously at the door. "Here she comes." Hunter whispered as everyone's heads turned to watch Cali walk down the aisle with her dad by her side.
Once she got to the front, she placed a kiss on her dad's cheek as they hugged. He then sat down with the rest of his family and the wedding began. "You look beautiful" Jack whispered as Cali looked up at him. Once the pastor asked for the bands of marriage, Max stepped forward handing the ring to Jack so he could place it on Cali's ring finger then once it was Cali's turn to place the ring on Jack's finger, I stepped forward and handed her the golden band. Once the bands were placed on their fingers, the sealed the deal with a kiss and the pastor pronounced them Mr. and Mrs. Cameron. As they walked down the aisle back into the building, the guests clapped and cheered watching them walk hand in hand into the hotel.
Everyone then cleared into the reception area where we had dinner, said our speeches, danced had cake and celebrated the newlyweds Jack and Cali. Jack and Cali walked over to the stand where a few people had stood to share their speeches. "Could we have everybody's attention please!" Jack spoke into the mic as all heads turned and everyone quieted down. "Hello everyone, Jack and I would first of all like to thank everyone for coming out to help us celebrate this important and special day with us, we're glad all of you could make it and we just want to thank a few people who have helped us get to where we are today." Cali said as Jack wrapped an arm around her waist. Her eyes scanned the crowd as multiple guests looked at her giving a warm smile. "Secondly, we would like to thank our families for supporting us and guiding us down the right path and always being there to lend a helping hand." Jack said as he looked over to where his parents and brother were sitting. Cali looked over at her family who was sitting in the same area and together they spoke into the mic "Mom, dad, thank you!" Cali blew her parents a kiss as her parents smiled at her then the speech went on. "And we also want to thank our friends who also play an important part in this day as well, Hunter, Maddie, Carter, Mel, thank you guys for helping us along the way and also hunter and Maddie thank you for being the best traveling partners around!" After thanking everyone involved in the wedding the party went on for the night.
Once guests started leaving, the party had begun to die down and the servers were starting to clean up. "Hey maid of honour, have fun tonight?" Cali asked sneaking up behind me. I brought her in for a hug and replied "I definitely did but how about you Mrs. Cameron? Are you enjoying your special day?" A huge smile came across her face going from ear to ear as she glowed with excitement. "Oh my gosh Maddie I can't believe it! I get to spend the rest of my life with the handsome man I fell in love with a long time ago! My wedding day is everything I imagined it would be! Today has been crazily amazing!" She brought me in for a hug and we stayed like that for a few minutes before letting go. I smiled at how happy and pleased she was with everything and how glowing and beautiful she looked. "Well Cali, I'm glad everything went right for you today and this new and exciting chapter you're about to begin is going to be a crazy adventure!" Jack came over just as Cali and I wrapped up our conversation, he placed his arm around her waist and kissed her forehead. "Congratulations Jack you've got yourself an amazing wife!" He smiled at me and thanked me just as Hunter came up behind me picking me up and spinning me around. "Hey congrats man!" He said to Jack as they bro hugged "Thanks buddy!" Hunter congratulated Cali and then started a conversation with Jack as I left to go upstairs to bed.
I got into the elevator and pushed the button for the floor our room was on and waited as the elevator took me up. Once it stopped on my floor, the doors opened and I made my way to the room and placed my card in the door and it clicked allowing me to open it. I changed into my pjs and hopped into bed leaving the bathroom light on for Hunter when he gets in. I turned the tv on to have as background noise then laid my head on the pillow and was out like a light.
