A Surprise?

At 10pm, our plane had finally touched down on the England airport runway and we had finally arrived at our fifth destination of this trip. Once we got off the plane, we drove to our hotel, when we got there we checked in to our rooms and went down to the pool for a swim. We took the elevator up to the roof where the pool was in a sun room. "Wow, this is so nice!" Cali said looking around the pool deck, we sat down and starred up at the night sky filled with stars then, Jack came over with Hunter and Justin and asked "Aren't you girls going to go for a swim?" We turned our heads to look at the three of them standing there and Cali replied "We will, we're just relaxing right now." Justin got in the pool as Jack and Hunter still stood there and all of a sudden, Cali and I were being picked up and thrown in the pool.

When we resurfaced, the guys were laughing at us just as Mina walked in and was laughing. "Hey Mina, what are you laughing at?" I asked as tears of laughter filled her eyes. "Oh me? Umm I'm laughing at Cali, she's got some major raccoon eyes right now." She replied as Cali turned to look at me makeup running down her face. She got out and wiped the makeup off her face with her towel and then came back in the pool and splashed Jack. "Aren't you coming in?" Justin asked Mina as she sat down on the pool chair. "No because I'm helping Brent take care of Sophie." She replied Cali and I got out of the pool and got in the hot tub while Justin got out of the pool and dried off and as for Jack and Hunter , they went in the fitness room to have a workout session. It was now just Cali and I in the pool area sitting in silence. " Maddie?" Cali asked, "Yeah?" I replied "Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we haven't even met?" I started up at the sky and thought about what Cali just said then replied "To be honest Calis, we've been best friends since we were five and I can't picture a world without my best friend and I'm glad we're best friends." Cali awed and cracked a smile. "And I can't live without you Maddie." She replied.

Once back in my hotel room, Hunter was already lying in bed sleeping. I walked over to his side of the bed and ran my fingers through his hair then, I kissed him on the forehead. I then walked into the bathroom and got changed into my pj's and put my hair up in a messy bun. After that, I brushed my teeth and then turned off the bathroom light then, I walked over to the window that over looked the city of London and it was beautiful, I took a picture then posted it on Instagram after that, I plugged my phone in to charge it and got in bed. I laid down and pulled the sheets up and got comfortable then I closed my eyes. The next morning, I woke up to Hunter singing in the bathroom, I wiped my tired eyes and got out of bed, I slowly walked to the bathroom door to see Hunter dancing and singing while brushing his hair. I stood there unnoticeable for a few minutes until he turned to see me with a smile on my face. "Well good morning rock star!" I said letting out a giggle. "Good morning my love !" He replied adding "Did I wake you up with that amazing concert?" I laughed again and asked "What concert the one where you thought you could sing or the one where you were trying to sing?" He had a smirk on his face and replied " Haha very funny babe."

I walked away towards the window there; I opened the curtains and admired the look of the city during the day. I pulled my suitcase up onto the bed and searched for an outfit to wear, When I finally found my favorite pair of jeans and a grey tee, I got changed and took my hair out of my messy bun . I dropped my phone so I got down to pick it up and as I was getting back up, Hunter asked "Is everything okay there babe?" I turned to look up at him and replied with sarcasm "Um...Yeah, I'm just going to chill down here on the floor you know where it's comfortable." He laughed and held his hand out for me to grab for help getting up. I reached out and grabbed his hand and as the playful guy he is, Hunter pretended to be pulled down. "You know... You're right, the floor is much more comfortable." He said with his cute grin. I laughed and we sat on the floor for a few minutes then, there was a knock on our door, Hunter helped me up and before I went to answer the door, I said "Put a shirt on, we have to get ready to go!" He smiled and said "But, I don't know what shirt to wear and I'm too lazy to pick one." I rolled my eyes as he grabbed his vans and put them on then I replied "Okay mr. smooth moves, I'll help you pick out a shirt right after I answer the door." I unlocked the door and opened it revealing Jack and Cali. I let them in and closed the door behind them, "Hey man, where's your shirt?" Jack asked as Cali laughed and added "Can't decide what shirt to wear again?" I held up a shirt that had burgundy sleeves and the rest of the shirt was grey. Hunter smiled as I tossed him the shirt so he could put it on then he replied "Yep so I had to get my beautiful fiancée to pick one for me." Then he kissed me on the forehead. Cali awed as I threw a pillow at her then, the guys were laughing.

Cali and I went downstairs to get some breakfast as the guys trailed behind us. "Does Hunter always ask you to help him pick out his shirts?" Cali asked knowing that Hunter had great taste in style. I looked back at him and smiled then back to Cali and replied "He only does it when he's lazy." Cali grinned and replied "Madison, you know how he use to do weird things to impress you when we were younger.. You know when he didn't wear a shirt the entire afternoon one day at camp because he wanted to show off and get your attention." I looked at her weirdly and then replied "Um... yeah what about it?" Cali took a moment to process her ideas into words as we arrived at the dining hall for breakfast. "Well." She said "It was because he liked you and didn't know what to do so, like any normal guy, he did what guys do most... Showed off! Well, that was until Jack helped him learn to step up his game and just be himself around you." As I picked up some bacon and eggs, I thought about what Cali just told me about Hunter then, I replied "So Jack taught him how to get a girl? How to get me?" Cali shook her head and replied "Yep, that's what I said, isn't it?" In my head it was taking time to process and as we sat down to eat, I said " But Jack didn't get him to step up his game on by himself right? I mean, you obviously taught Jack some things and told Hunter stuff about me to help, because there's no way Jack could have done it on his own!" Just as Cali was about to answer my question, the boys came to join us at the table, Cali just looked at me and smiled.

A few minutes after we were settled down eating breakfast, Brent came running towards our table in a hurry of excitement. "Guys! Guys!" He yelled waving his hand around until he made it to the table out of breath "What's up Gallagher?" Hunter asked him, still catching his breath Brent tried talking but Cali stopped him to offer him a cup of water "Here Brent, take a drink." She said, as Brent chugged the entire cup of water then he said "I'm not going into too much detail but... Today I have a huge surprise!" Cali and I looked at each other and the guys grinned, they knew something we didn't.
