June 9th
"Maddison sweetheart, time to wake up! You've got a huge day ahead of you!" My mom said as she lightly shook me awake until I opened my eyes and sat up in bed. I sat there for a few minutes then got up and went downstairs to the kitchen to have breakfast, when I got down there, I saw Hunter's mom and three sisters bringing in the bridesmaids dresses and Lana and Haily's flower girl dresses. "Morning Maddie" They said as I sat down and started eating breakfast. "Mads you're up good! Once you're done eating we're gonna get started on getting you all dulled up for your big day okay?" Cali said as she placed her makeup and hair stuff on the counter.
After I finished eating, I went upstairs to my room and got a pair of sweats and a hoodie out to wear while I get my hair, makeup and all that other stuff done. Once I got that stuff out, I walked into the bathroom and warmed up the water for my shower. Once it was warm enough, I stepped in and let the water run down. When I was finished, I turned the water off and wrapped one towel around my body while the other I used to wrap my hair. I changed into the sweats and zip up hoodie I picked out to wear while they got me ready for the wedding.
When I got back downstairs, everyone was doing their own thing; Cali was helping Nita get the Lana and Haily's hair done while Baily was getting her makeup done by the Cali's friend who was a makeup artist. Mina and Sophie soon appeared and placed their stuff in the living room then came and helped set the stuff out to get me all dulled up. "Okay Maddie, sit down. I'm going to do your hair while Sophie does your nails okay." Mina said as I sat down in the chair and they got the stuff they needed for my nails and hair. After a while of doing my hair and nails, they finished and now they were getting their hair and makeup done by Cali's friend.
"Okay, the venue person called, all is in place. The benches are all set up everything is perfect, and the pastor is on his way up to the farm." Cali said as she placed her phone on the counter and sat down so she could get her hair and makeup done. It was now 12:30 and we all had a light snack, after we had finished our snack, the girls all got in their dresses and I went upstairs and got into mine with the help of my mom and Cali. Once I was done, I looked in the mirror and I saw my mom's eyes filling with happy tears. "Oh my gosh, Madison you look so beautiful!" She said as she took a picture with her phone then helped me down the stairs where the rest of the girls were in their dresses waiting to get in the limo.
As I made it down the last step, all the girls stopped and stared at me in awe. "Wow! Maddie, you look so pretty, Hunter's jaw is going to drop when he sees how gorgeous you look." Nita said as she smiled. Once we made our way out to the limo, Cali got a text that the boys were on their way to the barn now so, we slowly filed into the limo one after the other. Once we got in, the limo driver drove us to our cottage where the wedding was being held inside the huge red barn. "I can't believe my best friend gets married today." Cali said as she poured a cup of juice for Lana. Just then my mom spoke up and said "It feels just like yesterday that Madison and Hunter just met." Just as a tear rolled down her cheek Nita awed and nodded her head agreeing with my mom's statement. "It does feel like that doesn't it?" she asked as everyone else agreed with her as well.
We soon arrived to our cottage and the limo driver stopped right at the white carpet that was laid out in front of the barn doors that were now slowly being closed. "Okay honey, it's time! You have grown into a beautiful young woman I'm proud of you baby girl!" my mom whispered as she hugged me, I hugged her back and saw my dad walking over to us with my brothers who were walking down the aisle, Alex was accompanying Lana and Haily who were the flower girls while Sam was walking down the aisle with Easton who was holding our rings around his collar and he was accompanying Baily who was one of the bridesmaids. "Thanks mom, I love you." I whispered as we separated from our hug and my dad came over with a tear in his eye. "My baby girl looks so beautiful and grown up." He said as he wiped the tear away. "Thanks dad." I replied as he pulled me in for a hug. "Now are you ready to walk down this aisle?" He asked as I smiled. "I think the question here is...Are you ready to give me away to Hunter?" Just as that question came out of my mouth, tears raced down my dad's cheeks and the barn doors slowly started opening. "It's time! Mads, you ready to become Mrs. Hastings today?" Cali yelled as we all got into place and I nodded.
