Adventure Is Out There

The next morning, we all met up for breakfast at a cute little restaurant downtown Sydney. While we were eating, everyone kept looking over to Hunter who was really hyper and excited. "Dude, why so hyper?" Jack asked. Hunter had a huge smile spread across his face and replied "Because I planned for us to go on a trip in the outback this afternoon." Everyone's jaws dropped as they turned to look over at Hunter, there was an awkward moment of silence then Cali broke it and replied "Oh... That's awesome!" She gave him a smile as the waiter then came with the bills.

After we left the restaurant, we walked down the streets of Sydney until we came upon the Sydney opera house. " Hey guys, why don't we go in and check this place out." Sophie said pointing to the building. " Sounds like a great idea." Mina said as she opened the door to go in. When we walked in, we looked up at the ceiling in awe, the building was huge and gorgeous as ever. "Wow! This place is amazing!" Mina said wowed by the beautiful ceiling. We continued to walk through the building and stopped a couple of times to admire some art work hung on the walls. I stopped and stood in front of this one replica painting of the opera house and examined it. "What you looking at babe?" Hunter asked coming up behind me. I continued to examine the painting and replied "This art work... It's interesting, it just brings something to life." I turned my head to look up at Hunter and saw the puzzled look that was expressed on his face. "You know, half the time I don't understand what you're saying." I laughed as he wrapped his arms around my waist and then, Cali came over and smiled and said to Hunter " But you still find that cute about her right?" He smiled and looked down at me then back to Cali and then replied " Yep, I can't get enough of her smile either." Cali cooed and smiled at me as I returned her smile.

Later on, when we were done walking the streets of Sydney, we went back to our hotel for a few hours before leaving to go on a safari in the outback. When we arrived to our room, I lay down on the bed and starred up at the ceiling. "What's wrong beautiful?" Hunter asked as I looked up to see him leaning up against the wall. "Nothing, I'm just tired that's all." I answered as he came over and lay beside me. A few moments later, I woke up shivering; I looked over to the clock that read 2:30 pm. I got up off the bed and searched the room for Hunter but he was nowhere to be found. When I opened the door to go out in the hall to find him, I heard his voice calling my name. I came back in the room and there I found him standing up against the wall shirtless. "What were you doing?" He asked me wrapping me in his warm embrace. "I thought you... I thought you left." I replied trying not to shiver. He looked down at me and brushed my hair back. "I'm never going to leave you because I love you." He replied. He saw I was shivering and went over to grab one of his hoodies from his suitcase. "Here, put this on, It'll keep you warm." He said handing me his hoodie. I put it on and smiled at him as he smiled back at me.

After that little moment of us, we went down to the lobby to wait for the others to meet us. When we arrived, Brent and Sophie were already there. "Hey guys!" I said to them as the waved. "What's new?" Sophie asked me. " Not much just had a nap before coming down. How about you?" She smiled and responded " I was sitting on the balcony drawing while Brent had a shower and watched tv." Just as I was about to reply, everyone else came over and we left to meet our tour guide. We got in the van and jammed out to some tunes for about 45 minutes and when a song I liked came on, I started singing along to it. "Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress starring at the sunset babe..." Cali, Jack, Sophie and Hunter were laughing at me and then froze when Brent decided to join in on the action. " Red lips and rosie cheeks, say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams..." I then stopped too and looked over to Brent who was getting into the song. Just a couple minutes after, we all looked at him shocked that he even knew the song. He stopped singing when he realized the entire van went quiet, he looked around and then asked " Why is everyone staring at me like that for?" We all looked at each other and laughed and then Jack said " We didn't know that you knew that song B man, but you rocked it!" His cheeks went red of embarrassment and the he replied " Thanks!"
