It is currently the end of the school day. I think I'm getting to know this school enough... well, after this kid Julian showed me around. He seems like a cool guy... SEEMS. This is the first thing he said to me when we started walking was:
"Just so you know, there are loads of girls here."
I was kinda taken off guard, so I said, "Um, okay?"
"There are some pretty attractive ones..." he said, grinning. "For example, Kyra! We dated a few months ago. Pretty, but not my style."
As this kid droned on, I thought, 'Well who is your style?' I do have to admit, Kyra is pretty attractive, but do I really want to date again? 'Date.' Heck we're in 7th grade, you physically can't date when you are 13. But Kyra... she looks like Keira, sounds like Keira... she practically is Keira!
Now, I close my locker, still confused at what I should do. I feel a tap on my shoulder as I pull my hood over my face. I turn around, and there she is! Kyra herself! She nods her head at me, tossing her blond hair.
"Hey. Heard you like me." I immediately turn fire engine red and say,
"Uh... where'd ya here that?"
"Oh ya know, the buzz. News travels fast here. Heard you are from the big city."
"Well I wouldn't say big-"
"I'm just gonna say this. Date me, don't date me, totally up to you. I'm a bad girl to my friends, a good girl at school.
"Have a good day Hudson," she turns on her heel and leaves me in shock.
What just happened? Okay uh, totally a bad girl. But aren't I a bad boy? I mean look at me. Black clothes, black stuff, sure. She seems like she's into me... I think.
Good looks, good personality, good student, hmm. I'll have to mull this over.
