Chapter 25: Enemies

Kaya's POV

The best ka talaga magluto kung sino ka man! Ani ko sa aking isipan habang tinitignan ang hawak hawak kong sandwich na may itlog, tuna, beans and my favorite sauce; ketchup. Yum!

"Hanggang kailan ka pipikit te?" sambit na lamang ng aking katabi na si Leary, "Ano ba, parang hindi ka ganito kapag may burger ka ah? Tse." ani ko, "Swerte ka tuesday ngayon at wala silang burger." palag pa nito, hmp, ano namang kinalaman ko riyan sa naka schedule mong burger.

"Ugh, bitin pa." pikit mata kong daing habang naka sandal ang ulo ko sa balikat ni Leary dahil naubos ko na ang sandwich na kanina lang ay hawak hawak ko pa,

"Huy!" iginalaw naman ni Leary ang balikat niya sanhi nang mahulog ako galing sa upuan, "Aah! Aray!" Sigaw ko at kinapa kapa ko ang ulo ko, buhay pa ba ako?

"Are you okay?" ani ng pamilyar na boses, dahan dahan ko namang binuksan ang dalawang mata ko... ganito ba talaga 'to, para akong nasa teleserye... ang labo ng mga mata ko... ayun lumilinaw na,

Napatayo naman ako nang mabilis nang mapagtanto kong si Archilles pala ang nagsalita. Tinignan ko nang masama si Leary at naka peace sign pa ang walang hiya. Aaah! Nightmare!

"Bakit mo nga pala ako gustong makita?" tanong ko habang naglalakad kami papuntang field, kung hindi ako nagkakamali.

"I- I just wanna know how you're doing know... you know, your arm?" sagot nito at napakamot ng ulo, nahihiya ba 'to? Pffp. "Ah! Okay naman na, thank you... sa pag-aalala." saad ko naman, "No problem. Let's go get an ice cream?" pag-aaya niya sa akin,

"Class hours pa ah? Hindi pa tayo puwedeng lumabas ng academy." ani ko, "Don't worry, I know a way." aniya at hinawakan ang kamay ko, habang tumatakbo. Omg?! May ganitong side pala siya? Ay teka teka, may balak ba 'tong mag cutting? P-pwes, bahala na! Counted na 'to as a date.

Malakas kaming nagtatawanan ngayon habang kumakain ng ice cream sa labas ng 7/11, "Ha... ha... teka, hindi na ako makahinga... HAHAHA!" Nahihingal kong tawa, "Ha... Nga pala, paano mo nalaman yung daanan na 'yon? Ang galing mo rin e 'no." tanong ko pa habang subo subo ang vanilla flavor na ice cream ko, "Oh actually, I wasn't the one who discovered that—it was Knox. Every student here should know about that already." Sagot nito at kinagat ang dulo ng cone sa sorbetes niya.

Teka, si Knox? May past pa palang hindi kinukwento ang Knox namin ah, "Si Knox? Kuwento mo nga anong nangyari, bilis!" Nananabik kong tugon, "It was when we were still a junior high, he and Seht had a huge... huge fight..."

TWO YEARS AGO

Archilles' POV

"Does your fucking brain got its genes from your dick? It's too small you can't comprehend what I just said? I said get your ass off my seat." Seht shouted, Knox slowly got up and looked at his mad face, "Seht, what's going on? Why are you shouting?" he calmly asked, but Seht just ignored him, dropped his bag on the chair and walked out.

"Putangina, anong problem no'n?!" hindi ko mapigilang sigaw dahil sa galit habang paalis siya, "Let's continue our work, we'll deal with him later." tugon ni Knox, I'm still mad and confused about Seht, what really happened and why did he get that far and say such things to Knox?

We are walking inside the cafeteria now, hoping to see Seht. We'll try talking to him about what happened earlier.

"There he is." Knox quietly said.

Palapit na sana kami nang mapansin kami ni Seht at mabilis na tumayo at nagtatangkang umalis, mabilis ding inilagay ni Knox ang dala dala niyang tray at pinigilan si Seht, "Seht, can you please talk t—" Things got escalated quickly and Knox didn't get to finish his sentence when Seht suddenly smashed his tray into Knox's face,

"Bro, are you fucking crazy?!" I shouted and tried to interfere when Knox stopped me, "Are you that mad? Let's then talk outside." Natulala na lamang ako nang mapagtanto kong hindi gumanti si Knox at umalis habang pinupunasan nito ang dumi sa kaniyang mukha at uniporme. Seht quietly followed Knox, what exactly is going on? Where is this 'Outside'? I cleaned their mess and said sorry to the cooks before following them.

What the fuck is this place? I lost Knox and Seht and I'm now following these students whose definitely a die-hard fan of those two, "Hey, Archilles..." bati ng isang babaeng studyante sa 'kin at binigyan ako ng regalo. "Yeah right, I almost forgot I'm as charming as them too." I murmured to myself.

"Are they going to fight?"
"How did Knox found this spot?"
"He's like smart-smart, he knows everything."
"I can't believe Seht would do that, aren't they like close friends?"
"Oh my poor Knox, he doesn't deserve that!"
"Well, Seht wouldn't do that without any reason!"
"Look, it's Archilles!"

Many students are already here sneaking and gossiping trying to watch Knox and Seht fight, seriously? Are they some kind of celebrities? I sneaked in and saw Knox and Seht facing each other. Damn, I never saw Knox looked at Seht like that. He must be mad-mad.

"Hey!" I interfered—again, "Look Knox, I also wanted to punch Seht in the face when he did that to you but c'mon! You guys wouldn't actually let these students see you fight each other's faces and bleed until you're ugly, right?" I said looking at Knox, I never talked that fast in my whole existence, "Right?" I said again while looking at Seht now, "Archilles, you wouldn't let it slide if someone smash their tray into your face, right?" Seht started talking and mocked me, "You are such a bitch, Seht." I backed up and turned away, everyone began screaming and cheering for them, a sign that the fight has already started. I couldn't care less now.

TODAY

Kaya's POV

"Woah! Hindi ko alam na may ganoong past pala sila." namamangha na nagugulat kong sambit. Wow, grabe talaga ang nagagawa ng false information. Akalain mo, nang dahil lang sa kuwento ng kaaway nila kay Seht na kesyo ipinagkalat daw ni Knox na ampon siya, hays! Ang scary lang e, masisira pa ang friendship ng dahil lang sa gawa gawang storya. "Wait, sinong nanalo sa kanilang dalawa?" naeexcite ko pang tanong, "Si... tara na, we still have class." pambibitin niyang sagot, ano ba 'yan!
