Chapter 30: Significant Others

Yseult's POV

"You're way too cool over there earlier." I complimented Lacey, before we came here, I already noticed the worry in her face. After all, she did a great job.

"Thanks. I was having a hard time back there. Anyway, you look good. I like your make up." she said, "That, yeah, big thanks to your help." I replied, honestly, couldn't have done this look without her help, especially with the eye look.

She just winked at me, she's funny.

I decided to left my friends for a while and went to my Dad.

"Hey, Da—" well I'll be damned, unexpected things still happen even for a high school graduate. "'Nak, Hiro's here." Dad muttered, anything but this, oh how I love surprises.

Hiro's my ex boyfriend.

Just wow, I can't believe I kept thinking about this guy this entire time I was in this school and now he finally showed himself? Trip ata ako ni Lord, huh.

"Hey... for you, congratulations!" he then handed me a bouquet full of my favorite crocheted flowers.

"T-thanks, Hiro. Why are you here?" I said, I still hate myself by the way. "Can't I?" he replied, I'm already overstimulated.

"I will leave you two. See me downstairs, Yseult." Dad interrupted and left, yeah, leaving me with your favorite ex of mine? I know you, Dad.

You want me to get back together with this... man.

"Yseult, look, can we please fix everything? You know that was just a misunderstanding." he said.

He's right.

It was definitely all a misunderstanding, I remembered when he didn't showed himself for two ass days and didn't respond to my texts and calls, I was already worried and upset.

So I decided to go look for him and guess what? I saw him with someone who once bullied me inside our favorite cafe together. I was so mad I couldn't even tell him we're breaking up.

He tried to contact me from all of my socials but I ignored him, I even begged Dad to cut contacts with him when he tried to tell me maybe it was just a misunderstanding. He's his favorite after all.

But a day before my first day in this academy, my father explained everything to me, that Hiro and that bully of mine just wanted to talk about how to apologize for what she did to me. But obviously she couldn't get contact with me so she just approached Hiro for help.

After that, I never ever wanted to see Hiro again because of the embarrassment I felt, I was such an immature person.

I knew I fucked up and owed him an apology, but It was too late.

Both me and Dad couldn't find him or contact him anywhere, I thought maybe he hates me too.

So, here goes nothing, "Hiro, I'm very sorry. I was wrong and I know you're mad and you can curse me out right now. I know I was such an asshole back then and it's not even funny... please, tell me, how can I ever repay you?" I didn't know what to say but I want to make sure he gets to hear my sincere apologies.

I know he was hurt.

He then gently held my hands and smiled, "Let's fix this together, okay?" he's as charming as ever.

Franchezka's POV

"Wow, pasok sa honors si Kuro ah kahit puro tulog lang ang alam sa klase." asar ko na masayang mukha ng gago, "Heh! Sipag at tyaga lang 'to, boi." tugon naman nito, ang yabang kainis! Baka sipag at tyaga sa pag sha— o joke lang.
