Their lips reluctantly parted. The last thing they needed was someone to see them. Kade brushed a hair from Lily's cheek. She looks beautiful he thought to himself. Lily's cheeks were covered in a blush and a smile went from ear to ear.
"We should return, it's time for a pop quiz on pharaohs."
Lily's eyes grew wide at the mention of a pop quiz. Kade just chuckled.
"Don't worry it is multiple choice and based on yesterday's readings. If you get an A I will even give you a reward."
"What kind of reward." She asked excitedly, completely forgetting about her previous apprehensions.
"How would you like to come to my home for a movie night after detention today?" He posed.
"I would love that!" She squealed
They both reentered the classroom and headed to their respective chairs. Kade explained the quiz and passed out the papers. Lily was determined to get this reward. Lily finished her quiz with 15 minutes of class left to spare. She dropped her test off at the desk and returned to her seat. After about 10 minutes she looked up to see a huge smile on his face. At that look she knew she passed, the reward was hers.
I hate pop quizzes they should be illegal.
