Louis wakes up beside a warm body; he can't really remember what happened before he went to sleep, just that he was sad. He starts rubbing his eyes with his sweater paws and notices that it is one of Harry's. He can't help but smile when he smells the sleeve. His daddy just smells so nice! And it's comfy and warm. This is great.
He tries to wiggle around a little bit, getting closer to the man beside him, who has his strong arms wrapped around the boy. Harry mumbles and tightens his grip; he doesn't want the little boy to leave him yet, he is way too comfy.
"Mm, not yet babyboy," Harry mumbles. It is way too early to even think about getting up, he needs sleep before their show later today. While he cuddles his boy, he gets a bit upset, he doesn't know how to make the boy age up without it being uncomfortable for Louis. He never really thought about how he should age him up. Not really knowing his regression enough, he hopes that it can go smoothly. It could end really badly if he ages up and then suddenly regresses again, and even worse if it happens on stage.
He shakes the thought away, right now he has to focus on cuddling his little boy. Making sure that the day goes okay, and that there aren't going to be too many stressors that might make it harder for him to age up.
He feels helpless. All the research he did, and he never thought to figure out how to get regressors out of their headspace. He never thought he would get this far, and he isn't fully sure how to handle this.
All these thoughts begin to make him a little anxious, so he tries to cuddle even closer to his boy, hoping some small kisses and skin-to-skin contact can help his anxiety.
And it does, he gives his boy a small kiss on the top of his head, and Louis cuddles even closer, wrapping his ankles around the man's legs. He feels oh so comfy in this position, he never wants to leave.
But not long after, Louis starts feeling a bit sick, like his tummy is telling him he ate something bad, but he can't even remember what or when he ate last. A small burp escapes him, and Harry chuckles. What he doesn't know is that the boy's tummy is now feeling worse.
Louis tries wiggling away; he knows he might throw up, and he doesn't want it to happen in the bunk, which would be awful to clean up. The feeling makes him think back to yesterday, and he slowly starts remembering what happened. He took scary drugs, and he felt really, really bad. He never wants to feel like that again.
"Daddy, ick!" He exclaims as he feels his stomach contents rise up in his throat. This is not good, he really does not like this feeling. He wants to feel better. Why isn't Daddy making him feel better?
"Oh? You gonna throw up, babe?" Harry says, slightly alarmed by the exclamation from the boy, he was very sleepy and cuddled and then suddenly moving away from his embrace.
Louis nods, and Harry climbs over the boy quickly, getting some kind of bucket that was lying under the sink. Just as he gets back to Louis, he sees him sit up and bile runs out of his mouth, most of it getting caught in the bucket. Though some of it ended up on the carpeted floor and the edge of the bunk.
Tears started running down the boy's cheeks; he feels so bad. And now he made their bus dirty. What is he doing? Why is he messing up all the time?
"Oh no, love, you're okay, it is just a hangover, you will be fine, love," The older man says, rubbing his back. Harry knows Louis has had his share of very, very bad hangovers. But it must be so scary for him when he is in a smaller headspace, not really understanding why he is sick. Or how to deal with it properly.
As Louis finishes throwing up, he feels better, not like he was dying. His mouth tastes bad, and his throat feels scratchy, but his stomach is feeling much better.
