Cassidy didn’t leave my house until the back of eleven when her Dad picked her up in his fancy car. Half the time she just cried the other half she cursed Jaden to hell and wished him dead in many eventful ways-that I offered to play out for her free of charge.

She wasn’t going to come in today and I couldn’t blame her, Alice and her minions always knew what was happening before the person it was actually happening to knew.

When I made it to my lockers at five to nine I was almost happy when Alice was already standing at her own locker beside mine, I could talk to her before she could hide away from me.

“Alice.” I said in my most serious and business like voice. Alice turned to face me her blonde hair swaying in its high pony tail. She still had the ridiculous bandages on her nose which was so good to see up close that I almost lost it there; but I refrained from laughing and calling her one of the ten names that popped into my head the second I saw her.

“What do you want?” She said unable to hide the fear in her voice from her surprise, I guess she always thought she was untouchable-until I broke her nose.

“I want you to keep your mouth shut about Cassidy and act as you usually do when you see her. I want you to tell all your little friends to stay out of her business too.” I said cutting straight to the point trying to stay calm about this whole situation.

“I have no idea what you are talking about.” Alice said turning away from me with a flick of her hand. I scowled and laid my hand on her shoulder to stop her in her tracks.

“Get off of me you psycho!” She yelled jumping away from me and causing several people to turn in our way.

Okay that’s twice in two days I have been called a psycho.

“Sorry, I just want to talk to you okay? Cassidy is in a real bad place at the minute.” I said feeling slightly annoyed at how scared she was of me, at first it was funny but now it irks at me in a way I don’t want to dwell on.

“Then talk, don’t touch.” She said standing as far away from me as possible. I nodded thankfully.

“You know about Cassidy and Jaden?” I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

“Yeah they went out for a movie on Friday. So what? Cassy wouldn’t do anything...” She trailed her eyes wide realising what this was all about. Huh, so she didn’t know? Then Jaden at least earned one Brownie point for staying quiet.

“Okay so you didn’t know but now you do, please just be nice to her?” I honestly don’t know why I am begging to Alice of all people but Cassidy needs her friends. It was one of the things she cried about the most last night.

She worried that they wouldn’t look at her the same way. She had no reason to worry of course since half of her friends have probably already slept with Jaden too.

“I can’t believe this. Cassy is my friend, I thought I could trust her.” Alice said shaking her head. Oh God I think I done something I shouldn’t have.

“Alice…” I was cut off by the loud shrieking of the bell and Alice dashed away from me without a second glance. I sighed and turned back to my locker to get my English stuff.

I am such an idiot.

All day I was skulking about trying not to run into Jaden or the rest of them and thankfully I hadn’t. All I had to do now was get through lunch and two more periods. Then of course I had detention.

I was in the sanctuary of the library eating some chocolate like a ninja and doing some Math homework when I was caught by Noah.

Noah had been texting me and calling me all night trying to find out if I will still tutor him and I refused to answer him. For one thing I wasn’t sure if I would tutor him and secondly, I was pissed at him.
