•Freddy's P.O.V.•

I could hear the muffled laughter from inside pirates cove. Only moments ago I had watched Minni dragging the day guard in there, probably to try and fix Foxy's faulty wiring. I wondered why they were giggling.

After a few moments I watched her hop back down, walking back towards where the maintenance room was. Something moved around in her backpack, and for a second I wondered if maybe...no. It had to be in the room still. Gold said he left it there.

"Alright kids!" I said, my voice robotic and full of static. "It's time for a pizza break!"

All the kids went running off elsewhere, taking seats at tables and waiting for food with their parents. I saw someone push open the doors, walking alongside Mr. Fazbear. They were chatting happily, and while I couldn't hear what they were saying, I noted how oddly similar the girl looked to Minni. Her hair was long and brown though, not black, but her eyes were the same blue.

"Minni's back." I heard a whisper to my side. It was Chica, she sounded thrilled. I smiled inwardly, just as happy.

"I know. We have to wait though. It's only five."

"Seven more hours of this shit?" Bonnie asked, and Chica shushed him.

"Bonnie! Cut the potty talk, we're performing!"

"Yeah yeah, sorry." He huffed. I just sighed, knowing that the seven hours would drag by like days. But still, it was nice to perform for the kids again.

The doors to the parts/service room was unlocked, so I cracked them open and walked in. The puppet poked its head out, tapping my ear with a flashlight. I smiled and took it, turning it on and flashing around the room. The first thing my light hit was something I wasn't expecting to see though.

It was two suits, slumped against the wall. They were both gold, one with wires jutting from its empty sockets, the other looking like it was slowly rotting. It was golden Bonnie and Freddy. They looked so...old. I felt the puppet climb out of my bag and tiptoe over to the pair, kneeling in front of them.

"My friends..." It wept, looking between them and the toys. "I have...to fix..."

"Maybe we can, okay? But right now, we have to find your music box."

"Okay." It said, standing back up. My first thought was to check beneath the toys, but I thought I'd let the Marionette do it. They were its friends and I didn't want to desecrate the dead.

I took to opening the cabinets, checking them up and down for anything that would be counted as a music box. Eventually I stumbled upon a little black jewelry box, hidden back behind some spare rabbit parts. It had a key in the bottom, so I turned it a couple of times before lifting the lid. A little ballerina popped up, twirling around in a black dress with a red bow as the music played. The Marionettes head snapped up, and it practically leapt at me.

"Give me..." It held its hands out, so I placed it in the puppets grasp. It seemed to coo and purr as the music played, happy to be reunited with it.

I heard a knock on the door, and it opened just as I got to it. Mike was standing there, looking slightly surprised and startled.

"Oh hey, didn't know you were still here. Find what you were looking for?"

"Yeah, I did." I smiled. "Come to find me?"

"Came to find spare wires, and circuits, actually. Foxy's missing quite a few. I was going to grab some off of the toys-"

The music stopped behind me. I knew the Marionette was staring at me, a silent plea. Or maybe a threat. So I blocked the way, making it so Mike couldn't get in.

"No. If you need more wires, I'll buy brand new ones. You can't take apart the toys any further, got me?"

"What for? They're decommissioned."

"It's just...not right." I fumbled for an excuse. "What if someone took your organs from you after you died? How would you feel?"

"Well I'm an organ donor actually-"

"Okay, bad example. But still, what if it was without your permission. Wouldn't you be pretty pissed?"

"I guess..." He sighed. "But most of the hardware stores close around seven thirty, it's almost seven now."

"Really?" I sighed. "Shit. I'm going to go talk to my sister, you should probably get back to work so you don't get in trouble."

We walked back out to the main room, forgetting about the Marionette completely. After Mike handed me a slip with everything I'd need scribbled down, I found my sister walking out of Mr. Fazbears office with papers in her hands and a grin plastered to her lips.

"Oh hey Minni, I was just about to find you." May squealed. "I just got an offer to be a chef here, isn't that great!"

I smiled, but I was screaming internally. "That's great May!"

"Looks like I'll be working with that Mike guy during the day." She winked, making me shake my head.

"Your choice in men." I laughed. "Hey, think you can do me a favor though?"

"What might that be?"

"I need you to find some electrical components for me." I handed her the list, watching as she read it over. May was pretty handy when it came to electronics so I knew she'd recognize the pieces.

"I might have to do some running around. Could I bring them tomorrow morning when I start my shift?"

"That should be fine, I'm sure Foxy can wait a night."

"Who?"

"The animatronic that needs the parts." I laughed.

"Oh, okay. Well I'll call you in the morning, see you then!"

I watched the lass and her male friend exchanging goodbyes for the night as his shift ended and hers started. She looked surprised as he pulled her into a hug, but she hugged him back after a second and then he finally left. A growl ripped through my chest for no reason, scaring myself in the process.

"They'd be a cute couple, wouldn't you say?" Gold was beside me, watching her as she took her position in the office and waited for the bell.

"Oi, you want the rest of ye body sent to the scrap heap or not?"

"Whoa whoa whoa, where's this coming from?" He raised his hands defensively. "I was just saying."

"We'll keep ye 'just sayings' to yerself."

After a few seconds, a look grew on his face. Like when you find out a really big secret and you can't help but grin like a maniacal devil. I watched him closely.

"I see what's going on here."

"Aye, do ye now?" I asked suspiciously.

"Them getting together would be the last thing you want." He chuckled, his tone easing up. "I don't blame you. She's beautiful."

"Aye." I sighed. "Only reason I tolerate that boy is because he be helping her to fix me."

"Well Foxy boy," he said as the bell chimed. "Don't fuck up."

I felt it. He knew it too and was gone in an instant. The glitch was back again.

Please lass, close the doors.
