"May, it looks amazing!"
I was looking at a new girl, who seemed to shine her brightest now. Chica was holding a mirror up to her face, looking at the cut that May had done on point. Chica looked stunning, and a lot more like she should. Probably the most punk chicken I'll ever meet.
"I have to agree. You look perfect." I grinned, jumping down and grabbing her hand. "Come on, we've got to show the others."
I made sure Chica was directly behind me as we walked out, spotting the boys sitting at a table. I whistled softly, earning their attention. I stepped away to reveal the grinning girl, watching all of their eyes widen at the sight of her.
"Aye, this be the same chicken we saw leave with ye?" Foxy teased. "Ye look stunning, lass!"
"Chica...damn, you're gorgeous." Bonnie grinned. Gold and Freddy just silently stared, their jaws open and gaping.
"Hey Chica, I've got a surprise for you."
Marion stepped forward, grabbing Chica's hand and dragging her off towards the maintenance room. I had a feeling I knew what was going on, but I kept it to myself, joining the rest of them at the table.
"So, what have you guys been up to?"
"Pretty much nothing, really." Freddy shrugged. "We've been waiting for you."
"It's so damn quiet in here." Bonnie sighed. A sudden idea came to mind, and a grin on my lips.
"Hey Bonnie, does the amp for your guitar hook into normal speakers? Like on a phone?"
"I believe so, why? Want to try hooking it up?"
"Let's give it a shot." I smiled, waiting for Bonnie to join me as we walked to the speakers. The amp fit perfectly, so we turned the speakers up as I searched for a playlist on my phone. The one I found had a lot of different genres on it, so I hit play. Of course, the first one to play happened to be my favorite.
"Aye, lass, this be what kids listen to these days?" He bellowed as The First Punch started to play. I smiled, listening to the heavy drum beats and guitar strums. Bonnie began shouting the exact lyrics I hadn't expected him to know.
"Where in the fuck did you hear this?" I asked, trying not to join him.
"Some kids came in here a while ago, they were asked to leave eventually because they were playing their music. I heard a few songs and broke into the office Sunday to use the tablet to look them up. You'd be surprised at how up to date we are on current things from kids parents. Everyone here is a master eavesdropper."
"That's surprising to hear for some reason." I laughed, watching Foxy close his eyes and lean his head back and forth to the beat. Mike and May joined us eventually, where May got up on stage and started dancing.
"Your sister really enjoys showing off doesn't she?" Freddy asked, and I nodded.
"Everyone in the family is a bit of a show off. Didn't matter in what, if we were good at it, we flaunted it."
"Well, she's definitely good at whatever she's doing." He chuckled, his expression suddenly growing dark. "Hey Minni, how bad are the bruises on your sides? Foxy was saying something about it earlier."
"They're black and purple, Freddy. It's to be expected from breaking my ribs with your robotic hands." I told him the blunt truth. "Do I blame you? No. It was a glitch. Just like Foxy when he knocked me down in the office."
"I still...God, I had no clue. All I had was an overwhelming surge of anger, and I blacked out, and next thing I remembered Foxy was beating the snot out of me."
