"Hey, you must be Vincent."
I was shaking internally as I walked up to the man. Something about him seemed to be intimidating and off putting, but the way he spoke was kind enough.
"Yeah, are you the night guard?"
"Aye." The word slipped out of my mouth, making me jump slightly. "I-I mean, yes. Carmine, everyone just calls me Minni."
He chuckled. "Been hanging around with that fox, huh?"
I smiled slightly. "He's my favorite one. I'm glad they got him up and running again."
"Yeah, I remember last time I worked here he was out of order. Something about someone tampering with the wires in his head. What a shame."
Anger sparked inside me momentarily, but I kept smiling. "Well Vince, I should show you the new office. It's a bit small, so we'll probably have to be taking sides."
"Not a problem." He smiled, following me as I led him down the hall. The office was still in order, maybe even dusty. It's been a while since I've actually used this for my job.
"They gave us a tablet to watch the security footage. You have to actually get up and smash the buttons though to shut the doors. It's a good workout to say the least."
"Yeah, in the old building there weren't doors at all." He shook his head, taking a seat. "And there were three entrances. Two vents and a hall. God it was shitty."
"Sounds like it." I paused for a second. "Hey, if you worked in the old building, what were the toys like?"
"The creepiest sons of bitches you'd ever seen." Vincent said in awe. "No emotion whatsoever. They don't even talk. These guys are more welcoming then them, and they make me want to shit a brick."
After a second of silence I started cracking up. Tears welled up in my eyes and my chest hurt. He just looked at me like I was losing it, but I continued to laugh.
"I swear to god I haven't laughed like that in a long time."

I was sitting in the cove, watching the sky turn black outside. I was itching to go. But a voice suddenly sounded from behind me, making me jump slightly. It was Marion.
"You know your conscience won't let you kill him in front of Minni."
"How do ye know." I asked gruffly, doubt creeping up my spine.
"Because you don't want her to be scared of you." She was closer now. "I can make it so you won't care, for the time being."
"How?"
"Pull a few wires here and there. None that would make you attack her, but all the ones that will make you kill him without remorse."
I thought for a second. The bell for midnight chimed, and I heard Freddy and the others wake up. My robotic hand clenched into a fist, and I smashed it against the stool.
"Aye. Do it."
"My pleasure."

The bell chimed, and I was thrown into panic mode instantly. Vincent seemed relaxed, but I could tell from the hard set of his jaw and the sweat on his forehead that this was bringing back memories.
"I'll handle right, you get left." I said, standing on the right side of the desk. Almost instantly I heard the door slam shut on his side, followed by a muffled robotic voice.
