Epilogue

"Stop freaking out!"

"I can't! It's a date! How am I not supposed to freak out!" I argued back as I ran my fingers through my straightened hair. When I told Rose about the fate with Jack she kept teasing me and sharing that she called it all along. I personally felt like a zoo was unleashed inside my stomach. I was wearing a black casual dress with my converse. My hair was straightened by Rose and my makeup was neutral.
My palms were sweating a little as I put my bracelet on. "Just be normal. Oh look he's coming! Have fun in your date! And not to much fun!" She called out before scurrying out of my room. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. I saw Jack who was holding a box of chocolate. He was smiling widely at me.

Butterflies erupted in my stomach.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"So....shall we?" He asked, extending a hand to me. I gladly took it and closed the door to my apartment. Our hands were interlocked form there u till we got into his car. "Where are we going?" I asked nervously. He smiled at me again. Geez, when did he get so cute and adorable? Well he's always been cute but still....

"It's a surprise." He said before shifting his gaze back to the road. I snorted, "Really Jack? Cliche much?" I teased. He shrugged again and looked at me with his dazzling brown eyes, "Only for you Grayson."

Oh my God. I think I just died a little inside.

Geez I sound so girly. Ew.

I coughed slightly as we pulled to a stop. He got out and opened the car door for me. I got out slowly and looked around me. We were in a forest. "Is this the part where I actually find out you're a psychopath and this how you'll kill me?" I whispered to him. He rolled his eyes, "Please Grayson, I could do much better than this." He snorted and I lightly pushed his shoulder. He led me through the Forrest and stopped. I queried and eyebrow at him and stopped his arm s around me from the back and covered my eyes.

I think my stomach is about to burst open.

We stopped again and he slowly uncovered my hands. I drew in a quick break as I looked at my surroundings. There in the middle was a picnic table with food laid out and there were Christmas lights decorating and hanging from the trees around us. "It's....wow." I said and stepped forward.

Jack smiled cheekily and pulled out at chair.

"Only the best for you Grayson."

"Tonight was fun." I whispered and leaned a little close into Jack. We were looking up at the sky. "Yeah, we should do this more." He chuckled. "What? You mean go on dates?" I asked him. He turned to look at me. I could tell he was slightly nervous. "Well...yeah. I mean - we don't -"

I pressed my finger to his lips. "I'm kidding Jack. Now shut up." I said and turned back to the sky. I could feel him leaning in a little closer and I tensed under his arms that was slung over my shoulder. I quickly moved a little and I felt his soft lips peck the corner of my mouth. He drew back quickly and I could t help but feel disappointed. "I - um -"

That's it.

I grabbed his checks and pressed my lips against his. He stayed froze for a second before he slowly wrapped his arms around me. Our lips moved in synch until I felt light headed and realized it was because I forgot to breath. I pulled away slightly to look at Jack. His eyes were brighter than ever and he had a wide grin on his face.
"Well I guess that clears everything up." He chuckled slightly and kissed my cheek. I could feel my face heating up even more. I laced my fingers threw his and looked up at the sky.

It was shining brightly.

Almost as bright as my smile.

hi? I know. It's been a while. School started. Things happened. Places to be. People to meet. Things to do. Netflix to watch.
But nonetheless here it is!
I am OFFICIALLY done with my first story! I am beyond happy about this. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who checked this little book out and stuck with me in this thing.

I'm actually in the process of writing my first chapter for my new book but I'm not sure when I'm publishing it yet since school happened and teachers are actually demons from hell who feed on youths. But anyways yeah! Hope you enjoyed this book!
