Ava's P.O.V
"Bentley!" I whined crashing into his firm chest. "Five minutes." He mumbled his lips lightly brushing mine as his hands slowly slid down my back resting comfortably on my butt. "I don't know if you haven't noticed but the house is filled with children." I said motioning behind me although everybody was in the backyard.
"Yeah they won't miss us." He said lightly squeezing my butt pulling my body impossibly closer to his firm one. It's a fact that I have a really hard time saying the word no especially to Bentley when he's being this sexy. Not to mention how good he looked in his stripped t shirt and jeans. "Mhh." I hummed completely melting into his embrace when he started to nibble on the sensitive skin of my neck.
"Is that a yes Mrs. Johnson?" He asked his blue eyes gleaming with mischief a smug smirk playing on his pink lips. "Maybe." I said pulling him forward capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. It, just like any time Bentley and I had to ourselves for the past few weeks was cut short when I felt someone tugging at my jeans. Looking down familiar mocha brown eyes looked up at my ones.
Bentley visibly tensed when he looked down seeing that Amy was there. "What's wrong honey?" I asked stooping down so that I was now at her level. I could feel Bentley staring holes through the side of my head from where he stood but I ignored him. She just shook her head smiling sweetly which caused Bentley to mumble a string of curse words before walking away.
"Come on let's go back outside." I said leading her back to where the other kids were playing including the birthday girls. I will admit that maybe just maybe we went over board just a little while planning. In the furthest corner to my right a blonde teenager maybe around sixteen sat doing face paintings. Next to that was not one but two bouncy houses. There were tables piled high with mountains of candy and other foods.
And next to that was a miniature petting zoo, there was only a pony and a sheep which I must admit isn't very 'special' but Skyler loved it so I guess it was money well spent. The backyard was packed with children and parents from the girls' school most of whom I've never met until I saw them today. Seeing that Tyler and Skyler invited all their friends- in other words the entire kindergarten department of their school!
"Mommy!" Tyler ran up to me literally bouncing just like the other kids here who were all hyped up on sugar. "Hey birthday girl!" I said lifting her peppering her face with kisses this being almost the tenth time today I've found myself doing this. It's just that they're growing up so quickly it felt like just the other day I first held her in my arms her crystal blue eyes looking up at me as I rocked her to sleep.
"I love you." She said kissing me back still giggling her cheeks turning a rosy red. "Ty now I'm jealous!" Bentley came from nowhere swooping her out of my arms and twirling her around causing her to scream. I looked down and strangely Amy was gone, hopefully to play with the other kids. Skyler running up to me distracted me from my mental worry about Amy.
Now that we know why she's so quiet I guess I'm just really concerned. We did make a report and she now has to visit a shrink twice a week so I guess we're moving in the right direction. The girls don't really try to talk to her anymore and I don't think that affects her, maybe that's how she likes to be. Alone.
Both Tyler and Skyler soon ran off to go play with their friends when the guys finally walked in. "Stacey!" I said bear hugging her. "Dam Ava I was here earlier today but don't worry I missed you too." She said winking at me which caused me to blush. After greeting everybody we just sat around the fenced pool area. Everybody holding some sort of alcoholic drink in their hand. All except me that is, turning I caught Stacey staring at my appearance.
"What?" I asked instantly becoming self conscious. Knowing Stacey she was going to either say my ripped boyfriend cut jeans and plain white t shirt wasn't enough. "If I say it you won't get angry right?" She asked putting her drink down her green eyes fixed on my body. "No I won't." I said nervously tugging at my shirt. "Sure?" She clarified. "God yes Stacey I'm sure." I said rolling my eyes.
