Ava's P.O.V

I stood at the door looking at my grumpy four year old daughter while she lazily rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Her golden curls laid messily atop her head sticking out in some areas. "Good morning pumpkin." I greeted warmly when she finally looked up at me. "Good morning mommy." She answered shortly before falling back into her black and white covers. "You gotta get up baby." I cooed leaning over and placing a kiss on her forehead. "Get up sleepy head!" Tyler screamed running into the room.

"Mommy." Skyler whined opening her eyes so she could glare at her older sister who now sat next to her smiling down at her younger twin. "Good morning Ty bear." I greeted kissing her on her puckered lips before walking into their bathroom to run their baths. "I don't wanna." I heard Skyler whine yet again to a very persistent Tyler. Seeing Tyler up and out of bed this early without me having to drag her out of it was odd but I guess today she was giving me an easy day which I was grateful for.

After their baths, brushing their teeth and combing their hair in a cute braid the only thing left to do was dress them. Something I've slowly lost the zeal to do. I missed the days when they allowed me to choose their outfits now that it no longer happens seeing that I was blessed with two little divas who have their own fashion sense of their own at their tender age. "How about these blue jeans and this top?" I asked Tyler who automatically shook her head in disapproval before walking into her closet and pulling out a black and white dress. A cute dress where the top was plane white and the bottom was a black horizontal zigzag pattern. "I like this one. You?" She asked looking up at me smiling. "Yeah it's pretty just grab a cardigan and some boots." I instructed before walking over to Skyler who already had an outfit picked out which didn't really surprise me.

As a mother I guess I should be proud when I see my kids become independent which I was but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was loosing my babies. "You guys look cute." I commented when I finished helping them get into their dresses. Skyler wore a beige dress with a brown and white feathered pattern which she paired with a grey round neck sweater and a brown ankle boots. "Where are we going?" I asked my well dressed children looking closely at their reaction. "I don't know." Tyler confessed quickly a guilty smile taking over her pink lips before she ran out the room leaving a very quiet Skyler.

"Sky you wanna tell mommy where your daddy's taking us?" I asked pulling her body closer to mine. "Daddy said we couldn't tell you." She whispered into my ear. "I'll give you candy if you tell me." I bribed her looking into her bright blue eyes. "Daddy already gave me candy." She replied with a shrug which caused my smile to fade. "Okay how about...I make you chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast." I bargained hoping that she'll crack sooner or later. There was no way Bentley could bribe my children better than I could! "No thank you mommy." She said before kissing me on my cheek and leaving the room while I just sat there in awe. I guess he proved me wrong he was way better at bribing the kids than I was.

My eyes lazily scanned my multiple rows of shoes in search of something that'll match my bland outfit which consisted of a plane white t-shirt I paired with some dark blue jeans that were ripped at the knees and my favorite black leather jacket. Honestly I didn't know where we were going seeing that none of them would tell me which in turn meant that I didn't know what to wear. So after an hour of digging through my closet I just settled on wearing this. Reaching for my pair of black pumps a pair of muscular arms snaking around my waist stopped me. "Hey baby." He whispered before planting a kiss where my neck and shoulder met. "That tickles Bentley." I muttered when his facial hair brushed against my skin.
