Heartbreak

Jungkook POV-

I feverishly fixed my hair.

"I'm gonna tell him...I'm gonna tell him" I muttered. I've had a crush on this 4D guy named Taehyung for a year now. He's sweet, caring, funny, and a total dork. This guy just happens to be my best friend since 1st grade. I styled my hair the way I normally did, over my forehead and a little in my eyes. I threw on black jeans, a oversized black longesleeve with a white design on the front, and black converse. I left my room and headed to the front door, my brother Jung Hyun was on the couch.

"Where you going?" He asked.

"To hang out with Tae" I said walking past him.

"Don't be out too late"

"I'll be back at sunrise" I joked. He gave me a look, I laughed and walked out. I walked down the sidewalk and headed to the park, that's where me and Tae met the first time. I dropped my ice cream and he shared his with me. People filled the sidewalks, I started getting claustrophobic. I ran across the street to the empty park. I sat down on a random bench. I looked around the park for Tae.

"Kookie!" A person shouted.

Tae...Tae gave me that nickname when he made the connection to cookies. I stood, Tae was running towards me with a huge smile on his face. I smiled back, he ran into my arms and hugged me tightly. I gasped, my heart began to race. I gently hugged him back.

"I'm so happy!" Tae shouted.

"When are you not?" I laughed.

"This time it's different" Tae pulled back and looked at me. His eyes gleaming with happiness.

"Tae...I have something...I wanna say to you" I said slowly. His face lit up even brighter.

"Me too" he said happily.

"Oh...you go first" I insisted.

"Okay so you know I've had a crush on this girl..."

No I didn't...

"Well I finally ask Yeri out and she said yes!" Tae started jumping around happily. A small ache came from my heart.

He what....? Sadness ran through my body, I felt weak and tired. I swallowed back tears.

"Aren't you happy for me?" Tae said, he stopped jumping and looked at me with a sad face. I just nodded, afraid that my voice would crack.

"Never been happier" I said, my voice low and broken. Tae frowned and came up to me. He felt my forehead, my heart beat picked up.

"You're warm" He said. I swallowed.

"You should go home in case you're sick" Tae backed away. I nodded.

"S-Sorry Tae" I said. Tae shook his head.

"Don't worry, we can hang out when you feel better" Tae gave me a kind smile, I smiled back wryly.

"Bye" my voice cracked. Tae laughed at me.

"Bye Kookie" he walked away. I quickly ran back to my house, fighting back tears.

I ran inside, ignoring my brother and went straight to my room. I locked the door behind me. I sat on the edge of my bed and let the tears fall. I hid my broken sobs in my arms. I laid back onto my bed and hid my face into a pillow. My tears wet the pillow.

I'll never have a chance now. I hugged the pillow tighter.

I woke up to my phone ringing. I blankly stared at in front of me. The screen showed Taes contact. It was him with a bow in his hair. I slid the ignore button to the side. I didn't feel like talking to him, or anyone. My phone kept ringing, I finally gave in and answered.

"I'm sleeping" I growled.

"Are you doing okay?" Tae asked.

"I'm fine" I grumbled.

"Will you be at school tomorrow?"

"I don't know"

"Text me If you are okay?"

"Will do" I hung up and tossed my phone.
