In My Eyes [Vkook]

I Had Enough

Tae POV-

I groaned softly and opened my eyes. The hard ground beneath me was freezing and the cold was rapidly seeping through my clothes and into my skin. Kookie laid partly on my chest shivering and trying to share my heat; what little I had left. His face was wet with tears and little whimpers left his mouth.

I tried to get up but a sharp pain shot through my back. I groaned and flopped back onto the floor. I spat some blood out of my mouth and hugged kookie close. My eye lids started to get heavy, I tried to fight it off, but the darkness swallowed me and before I knew it I was unconscious again.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh..! Are you okay? Excuse me? Oh my gosh..."

I opened my eyes and was met with the worried face of boy who looked a bit  older than me.

"Oh my gosh! Thank God you're alive!" He sighed in relief and straightened up.

I just groaned and tried to prop myself up again. He held my shoulders and helped me sit up. I mumbled a thank you and rubbed my eyes slowly as I looked at him. He had brown hair, wide shoulders and plump lips. There was something kind of feminine about him but I didn't know what.

He gave me a friendly smile and offered me his hand. I hesitantly took it and, with his help, I shakily stood up.

"What happened to you guys?" He motioned to kookie who was still on the ground.

I shook my head. "Just some jerks at school."

He nodded in understanding. He walked over to kookie and picked him up. He got him on his back. "I'll take you guys to mine. It's not far, you can patch yourselves up and shower and what not."

I smiled. "Thanks man. I'm Taehyung and that's my boyfriend Jungkook."

He nodded and started walking. "I'm Seokjin, just call me Jin."

"Nice to meet you Seokjin"

I came out the shower feeling refreshed and a lot better. I walked into the spare room, that Jin let me stay in, and walked over to Kookie. He had showered before me and was laying on the bed in a peaceful slumber.
I smiled softly and sat next him on the bed. I stroked his hair and caressed the cuts and bruises on his face. Is it wierd I still find him perfect even though he's all bashed up? His eyes flickered open and a bright smile lit his face, which made my heart melt.

"Hey kookie, are you feeling better?" I asked and leaned down to kiss his cheek.

He nodded and sat up. "My tummy still aches but I'm okay."

I hummed in acknowledgment. A delicious smell drifted up the stairs. "Mhhh, japchae?" I asked realizing how hungry I was.

Kookie sniffed too and nodded. "Wow, Jin must be cooking for us."

"Lemme get changed and we'll go down and eat."

Jin sat opposite me and Kookie. Mountains of food sat between us on the table. "Was it really necessary to make this much Jin?"

He shrugged. "I have a healthy appetite."

Kookie grinned and started eating happily. I followed suit and between us we polished off all the food.

After dinner we sat down and watched tv. Jin told us all about his mario collection and how he's always been obsessed with the characters.

Kookie listened intently and played with my fingers. Which I found super adorable.
