The entire family was gathered in Nandini's house, filling the evening with laughter, chatter, and endless conversations. Everyone was so engrossed in talking that nobody noticed how quickly time had passed.
That was when Neonika's loud voice echoed through the house.
"Sab log dinner ke liye aa jao!"
One shout was enough.
Everyone immediately scattered in different directions, rushing to wash their hands and make their way back to the dining table.
Neonika began arranging the food onto different plates with the help of Sharmistha and Divyanka. The first plate went to Sanju, who was currently enjoying every bit of her pregnancy cravings.
Sanju happily settled down beside Ali, who immediately took responsibility for feeding her. The sight of the lovely couple made everyone smile.
Just then, Arjun walked into the house, freshly ready for dinner, with Neil following closely behind him.
One after another, everyone gathered their plates and settled around the dining area. Even the elders took their plates, while Nandini and Avni took charge of serving everyone.
Amidst all the laughter and conversations, Arjun stepped forward to collect his plate.
And then he noticed her.Nandini.She wasn't talking.She wasn't laughing.Her eyes kept drifting toward the front door.
Arjun immediately understood.She was waiting for Manik.He quietly walked over and stood beside her, holding his plate.
"Are you looking for your husband?"
Nandini immediately looked at him.
"Yes, jiju. He said he'll be back by dinner, so... yes, I'm waiting for him."
Arjun gave her a reassuring look.
"Don't worry. Agar usne bol diya, woh aayega. Woh pakka aayega."
Nandini smiled faintly.
"I know, jeeju. But I'm still waiting for him. Even Karan said there was something..."
Arjun's expression changed slightly.
"What did you say?"
"Yes. Manik got a call from Karan , and he left in the afternoon."
"Okay. You relax. I'll make sure that idiot comes home."
Before Nandini could respond, Kritika walked into the house.Nandini immediately looked at her, almost ready to ask about Karan.But before she could say anything, Karan appeared behind Kritika.
The moment everyone saw them together, the teasing began.
