Riley

I knocked quietly on the door, after not hearing anything from Lucas for about an hour.

"Lucas?" I asked softly.

The door opened. Lucas leaned heavily against the door frame; his legs shook visibly. He looked very tired.

"Are you okay Lucas? What happened?" He wobbled to the bed and flopped down.

"I had a panic attack." He replied. "I-I-I don't know why. It was a... I don't know. You probably don't want to know. It doesn't matter."

"You can tell me if you want. I won't push." I replied. He sat up, smiling gently.

"I get really nervous when meeting new people, in new situations, around a whole lot of people, around people I don't know. The list goes on and on. I looked at your house... and was in a new situation. I'm sorry."

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"

Lucas shook his head, "I just need to rest. Panic attacks always make me really tired. Call me when dinners ready."

Dinner was in about two hours.

"Okay Lucas. I'll do that."

He smiled, "Thank you Riley."
