Natalie's P.O.V.

"Princess, it's time to wake up," Niall cooed into my ear.

"No," I grumbled into my pillow.

"C'mon, I made you breakfast," he bribed.

"Does it include bacon?" I ask hopefully, squinting one eye open.

"Of course," Niall chuckled.

I immediately sat up right, taking the tray of food from his grasp. Setting it down in front of me I licked my lips. On a plate sat five slices of bacon that were calling my name, along with a bowl of strawberries and toast covered in peanut butter. I quickly grabbed a piece of bacon and happily began munching on it. I felt the bed sink behind me before I could feel Niall lace his arms around my waist. He rested his chin on my shoulder, placing a feather-light kiss on my jaw bone.

"Happy three months princess," he spoke softly into my ear.

I mentally face palmed myself. Yet again I had forgotten about our anniversary. I knew it was coming up, but I couldn't remember the date. How is he so much better at this than me? I am the girl here! Turning my head I placed an apologetic kiss on Niall's cheek.

"Happy three months Nialler," I repeat. "So do we have any special plans for today?"

"Of course silly, I'm taking you out to dinner," Niall said as he kissed the sensitive skin on my neck.

"Really?" I asked trying to keep him talking.

"Mmhmm, is that okay?"

"Yeah, it's just that we haven't left your apartment since I've arrived to London two weeks ago. Why now?" I turned my face, so I could see his better.

Niall's chest expanded, pressing into my back, as he took a deep breath. A few more seconds passed before he answered.

"I'm sorry princess. I just wanted to protect you from the paparazzi and the fans. They can get pretty brutal. That and I guess I've just wanted to keep you all to myself," he said softly before kissing the tip of my nose. A small smile brought up the corners of my mouth. I tilted my head upwards and pecked Niall on the lips.

"We could always wear disguises," I suggest giggling lightly.

"There's always that," his laughter harmonized with mine.

"Besides Niall, it wouldn't have been the first time I've been bullied. I'm pretty sure I could handle the haters."

"I find you having been bullied before hard to believe."

"How?" I furrowed my eyebrows, confused by his answer.

"You're beautiful Natalie, and don't forget funny, kind, smart, loveable, sexy..." Niall trailed off before sliding the sleeve of his shirt off of my shoulder. His lips left a wet kiss on the newly exposed skin. I felt him linger his lips over the chilled skin before he gently nipped at it with his teeth. Squirming out of Niall's grasp, I turned to face him.

"Sorry I just-" I began.

"Don't be, it's my fault," he cut me off, shaking his bowed head.

"No it's not your fault Niall. It's not mine either..." I whisper, squeezing my eyes shut.

The words I needed to say were there on the tip of my tongue but I couldn't vocalize them. Niall deserved to know. It would explain my recent tendency to push him away whenever he would get to personal. Hurt was always plain as day every time I'd put distance between us. It killed me to see him like this because this is not how it should be. I should be able to show Niall the love I feel for him without being afraid, without being haunted from my past.
