Chapter 17: Nowhere To Escape

A/N: Heyyy! So sorry! I forgot about the story, I forgot that I have not completed this story yet. Been extremely busy with school lately. HEHE... ANYWAYS, I apologise for my late-ness and I do hope to finish this story and hope u guys will like it! SHINee <3

Onew's POV

I could clearly see that Sae Ra loved Key but that annoying Key didn't even noticed a single clue about her feelings at all. Key always has this particular problem, he is so oblivious to his surrounding that things such as this happens a lot. I asked Kae Jung for further clarification upon Sae Ra liking Key. She said yes hesitantly but felt better after I told her I won't tell anyone. I met up with Kae Jung after work as we had to discuss about our collaboration for a new album since many of our fans requested for it. The manager thought that it would be a great idea to try out this particular album called "Mistique". The concept was a little bit like a masquerade and some cool choreography ahead of us since it was mixed with pop tunes as well as gentle rhythms. 

"Yah(Hey)! Yogi(here)!" I waved at Kae Jung who was mindlessly walking through the cafe. We managed to get rid of the fans and ordered our lattes to an exclusive room above the cafe, made just for us ever since Kae Jung's barista manager wanted to thank us for bringing luck to her cafe. We were talking about the idiot Key-goon and Sae Ra.

"i wonder how their shooting is going..? its the confession scenes today." I smiled as I held her hands. 

We were still as cheeky as ever even when there are people around. 

Sae Ra's POV

I went to get my coat and a cup of warm coffee. I sat down quietly at the side of the bench right behind the set.

“Sae Ra-ah! Oudieyo(where are you)?” Kae Jung’s voice echoed around me.

I turned to look at her as she noticed me.

“Yah(hey), how are you?” she asked, worried written all over her face.

“I’m fine…” I lied.

“Really… You don’t have to lie to me you know.”

“I just want to be alone right now… Things can’t always go the way I want them to, you know?” I said as she patted my back and left me.

“WE’LL BE BACK IN 10 mins!” The director shouted.

I sighed, looking up into the breath-taking sky.

The next scene would be our confessions for each other. I was not going to lie anymore. I wanted to be true to my feelings. As I was about to walk back to the set, someone grabbed me by my arm and dragged me behind the wall. Before I could see the face, that person started kissing me softly. I didn’t fight back but instead I kissed him back. When we stopped, I didn’t know whether I should be shocked or happy that it was Key. Both his arms were on the wall of my sides. I didn’t have anywhere to go to except to stare into his flawless face.

“Key?” I asked.

He only looked at me with gentle eyes as he place on of his hand on my cheek.

“Sae Ra, I… I like you. Ever since I bought those pencils from that shop, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. How different you were from other girls and to think that I had such an opportunity to be with you like this, it’s beyond my imagination. So I want to know right now, do you feel the same way as I do, Sae Ra-sshi?” he asked me as if he was singing the most beautiful melody I’ve ever heard.

I couldn’t find the words to describe this situation. I cupped both my hands on his face, bringing them closer to me as we connected our foreheads together. I kissed him lightly on his pulpy lips as I nodded happily. He smiled back almost instantly as he wrapped his arms around me and circled me around. My heart was bursting with joy as we went back to the set together. We didn’t want anyone to know about us yet so we pretend as usual.

Strangely, the confessions we were suppose to make were so similar to the one we did just 5 minutes ago. It felt so surreal but it was the most magical thing to me. When the whole shooting session was over, we went back to our own respective dorms and I spilled every single thing to Kae Jung. She was so happy for me and I was glad too, that I never have to walk back alone, ever again.
