Chapter 11: Training

Onew’s POV

I sighed as I looked at the view at the balcony of our dorm. Then Taemin came beside me.

“Hyung, what are you thinking about?” he asked innocently as I looked up the night sky.

“Nothing much, just a little bit more to what I’m feeling actually.”

“Like?” he asked again.

“Just that I’m happy that Kae Jung is going to have a chance to debut but I’m just worried if she is able to cope with all the training and schedules that is seriously off the wall, especially during the period of time when we just debuted. I mean she would have to-“ I continued talking until he interrupted me.

“AH HYUNGNIM!,” he said loudly, “if you believe in her its going to be fine. We’ll be there to help her, don’t worry so much hyung.” He said calmly as I only smiled at him.

I patted his back slightly and nodded.

“You’re right… Thanks Taemin-ah.” I said as I turned around.

Just as I was about to leave the door, Taemin stopped me.

“You don’t really think of her as just a friend do you?” he said cheekily.

“I guess so.” I smiled at him as I went in.

Kae Jung’s POV

I was getting really anxious as I was supposed to start training for my debut in a month’s time. I had a month to get packed to move to the dorm that was near SHINee’s dorm. Since I was alone, they allowed me to share with SNSD since they had an extra bed of one of the two bed rooms. I breathed in as I went to open the café.

“Sae Ra-ah. I… have something to tell you,” I told her as she went to sit down by the bookshelf where Key used to always sit.

“Booyah(What is this)… Sitting where HE always sits.” I teased her but she only smacked my shoulders.

“Amutten(anyways), what is the thing you wanted to talk about?” she asked, taking a sip from her mocha.

“I… signed a contract with SM Entertainment and they want to me to debut as a solo artiste.” I felt my eardrums banging crazily as she screamed at me.

“WAHH!! CHUKAHAE(CONGRATULATIONS)!! I am so proud of you!” she squealed and hugged me so tightly I could feel my ribcage cracking.

“Kende(But)… I am leaving soon… Next 2 weeks.” I said solemnly as her face turned normal.

“All the best and work hard alright! I am so going to look forward to your debut! Keep in touch with us alright!” She said as she smiled happily.

Then the doorbells rang and SHINee and the manager came in smiling happily,

“Chukahamnidah noona(congratulations sister)!” they all said as I felt myself burn in happiness. 

“Kamsahamnidah(thank you) eurobun(everyone)!” I replied, giving quick hugs to all of them.

The manager decided to throw a little celebration with a cake at the café so we did. Everyone was having fun as I thought about a lot of things. I wondered what happen if I were to make a mistake when I was going to debut. Then I thought about Onew and my past, that we lost contact for a very long time until I could not even remember. I sighed, drinking my chocolate ice-blend.

Onew’s POV

I noticed she was sighing in the middle of the celebration. I guess she wondered what would happen if she would lose contact like I did. Then I sighed too, understanding her position.
