A/N: so guys, we only have a one more draft of mine left, I've been working on it and I'm gonna post it followed by an authors note for a goodbye. It doesn't feel like people are really reading this book anymore so hopefully the last chapter hold people's attention. I've really enjoyed writing this book for you guys and maybe down the line someone will find it again! Well here's the long awaited Clay Spencer, I've been into Seal Team for a bit but never really got around to writing for him, so here's that fic for you guys! Happy reading!

The crosshairs wouldn't stay still.
Clay exhaled slowly, pressing the stock tighter into his shoulder, trying to force his body into discipline. Into routine. Into something predictable.

Breathe in.
Hold.
Squeeze.

Except his hands were shaking.
Not visibly, no one watching from a distance would notice, but Clay felt it. The faint tremor running through his fingers, the way his pulse thudded too hard in his throat, the way his vision blurred at the edges just enough to make him blink more than usual.

"Talk to me,Spencer," Jason murmured beside him, voice low, steady. Grounding. Clay swallowed hard. His mouth was dry. "Multiple targets," he said quietly, forcing his voice to stay even. "Three rotating patrol. I've got the sequence."

He did, He always did. He just didn't have himself. The nausea rolled again, sharp, sudden and Clay clenched his jaw, forcing it down. Not here. Not now. Not with Jason right next to him and a mission riding on his ability to be perfect.

Always perfect.

He adjusted his scope again. The buildings across the way shimmered slightly in the heat, but no, not heat. Not entirely. His vision doubled for half a second and he blinked hard, refocusing.

"Clay." Jason's voice was sharper now. "I'm good," Clay said immediately, too quickly. A beat of silence, Jason didn't believe him. Clay didn't give him time to push. "Target one... marked."

Breathe.

"Squeeze" The shot rang out,one down. Clay sucked in a breath through his nose, steadying himself, already shifting, but the world tilted.

Just for a second, Just enough.
His stomach lurched violently and he had to press his forearm into the ground to keep himself anchored, teeth grinding together as bile burned at the back of his throat.

Not now.
Not now.
Not now.

"Clay!"

"I got it!" he snapped, harsher than he meant to. Then softer, quieter, almost apologetic. "I got it."
Jason didn't respond right away.
But he didn't move away either.
He stayed right there, Watching, as Clay lined up the second shot.
His finger hesitated,The target moved,Clay adjusted, too slow.
