[41]The Thrill of Destruction

"Try my Shoot Shield!" Crust exclaimed as he rushed one of the High Ends, slamming one of his shields into the monster, slicing through its skin as he, along with Aizawa, Critical, and a few other heroes, continued fighting against several of the High End Nomus beneath Jaku General Hospital within Dr. Garaki's secret lab.

"And this is with their Quirks erased?" One of the other heroes questioned, as thanks to Aizawa's Erasure, the High Ends within his gaze were unable to use their quirks.

"Talk about tough bastards." Critical remarked as he weaved past an attack by one of the High Ends thrown his way before retaliating with a slash from his cleaver that sent it stumbling back.

Meanwhile, deeper within the lab, one of the High Ends, designated Woman, who broke away from the brawl with the other heroes, stared down Endeavor, who stood in front of a heavily injured Mirko.

"I'll feel even more amazing when you're bleeding out, Number One!" Woman shrieked as several parts of her body began to swell before suddenly bursting and sending out a hail of sharp spikes towards Endeavor, who in response unleashed a large blast of flames, incinerating the incoming spikes as they rained towards him.

"What's the deal...?" Mirko asked as she pulled herself to her feet, causing Endeavor to glance back at her. "You need me to kick her?"

"No. Stay back." Endeavor ordered as he turned his attention back to the High End as the flames around his hands flared. "Hell Spider!" He shouted as he fired off a burst of flames that swiftly split into several scorching rays of fire.

"More. C'mon. More!" Woman roared as she charged the two heroes, dodging and weaving through the rays of flame sent her way. "You're mine!" she shouted as she closed in before lunging right at Endeavor, her maw opened wide; however, before she could sink her needle-sharp teeth into the Number One hero, she was struck in the back of her head by a kick, courtesy of Gran Torino.

"Sorry to keep you waiting!" Gran Torino called out as his kick sent Woman crashing to the ground.

"Just glad you're here." Endeavor responded.

"You've done well. How 'bout a hand?" Gran Torino asked as back with the other heroes, Ryukyu, Rock Lock, and Backdraft arrived to help.

"Thanks for the backup!" Crust exclaimed upon seeing the newly arrived heroes.

"We'll handle these ones." Aizawa said as he continued to stare down the High Ends in front of him. "Go help Endeavor further inside."

"On it. Rock lock. Backdraft. You're with me!" Ryukyu commanded as she and the other two rushed off, quickly reaching Endeavor's location where they found Gran Torino engaged with Woman. "Another one!"

Wasting no time Backdraft charged forward, bringing his hose-like arms to bear, blasting off two streams of pressurized water at Woman, hitting her in her back and knocking her off her balance just as Rock Lock slid in next to her.

"Deadbolt!" Rock Lock exclaimed as he swiftly placed his hand on the ground under Woman before twisting it using his quirk to lock her in place, thus allowing Gran Torino to use this opening to deliver a swift and powerful kick to Woman's head, destroying part of it; however, this damage quickly regenerated.

"It's able to heal itself immediately." Gran Torino remarked as he used his quirk to hover around Woman.

"Thanks for your help, but..." Endeavor called out, gaining Gran Torino's attention, who looked back to see Endeavor covered in flames as he blasted himself towards Woman. "This one's mine! Flashfire Fist. Jetburn!" He roared as he slammed a flaming fist upwards right into the High End's chin.
