[Special Episode 2] Heroes Rising #1

Late at night a light snow falls as a large cargo truck speeds along a mountain road, being pursued by four other cars inside of which were pro heroes.

"That's Shuichi Iguchi!" Rock Lock called out as he drove alongside the cargo truck, spotting Spinner behind its wheel.

"So it is the League of Villains!" The pro riding alongside Rock Lock exclaimed as he leaned out the car's window and prepared to open fire on the cargo truck with his gun arm.

However, Spinner reacted swiftly and swerved the truck to the side and into the car, causing it to be pushed against the wall alongside the road before doing the same thing to another car closing in on the other side, pushing it against and then over the guardrail.

"Damn it!" The pro riding alongside Rock Lock shouted before opening fire on the cargo truck with his gun arm; however, this had little to no effect. "No Luck..."

"Then let's get closer." Rock Lock said as he pressed on the accelerator, closing the distance between them and the cargo truck as the other two cars driven by pros did the same before suddenly Dabi leaned out the truck's window, his hand outstretched.

Rock Lock, seeing this, quickly reacted, hitting the brakes and skillfully flipping the car he was driving before using his quirk on it, locking it in place so that its underside was facing Dabi as he unleashed a blast of blue flames, protecting him and the pro that was riding alongside him.

One of the other hero-driven cars acts swiftly to this by riding up and along the wall next to the road, avoiding Rock Lock's car and managing to get out in front of the cargo truck.

"Take this!" a yellow haired female pro yelled as she emerged from the car's sunroof before using her quirk to unleash a discharge of electricity directly at the cargo truck; however, Spinner accelerated and slammed into the side of her car, knocking both the yellow haired pro and the car she was in out of the way, thus leaving only one hero-driven car left in pursuit.

"Upise-dasiy!" Mr. Compress said as he popped up from a hatch on the roof of the cargo truck, three of his marbles between his fingers. "So very persistent!" He remarked as he threw out the marbles before deactivating his quirk, causing them to turn into steel beams, and being unable to react quickly enough, the last hero-driven car crashed into the beams, flipping before exploding as the villains continued on.

"How did the heroes know our route?" Spinner questioned.

"Someone must'a talked." Dabi replied.

"A leak? Who is it?" Mr. Compress asked.

"How should I know?" Dabi answered.

As the cargo truck continued to drive down the road, a few meters ahead of it awaited another group of pro heroes, and standing at the forefront of them was the current number one hero, Endeavor.

"The pursuit team lost them. Looks like you're up." Rock Lock said over the radio.

"I figured as much." Endeavor responded as he readied himself. "Leave 'em to me."

"Endeavor?!" Spinner called out upon seeing the awaiting hero.

"The lead actor in this heroic farce." Mr. Compress remarked as the cargo truck continued towards the number one hero.

"Working so late at night..." Dabi commented as his blue flames covered his hand. "I hope you're getting overtime!" He exclaimed as he unleashed his flames at Endeavor.

"Jetburn!" Endeavor yelled as he fired off his own flames, the two attacks clashing before dissipating.

"Better get out of the way! I don't mind running you over!" Spinner shouted as he pressed down on the gas pedal, speeding towards Endeavor, who in response crossed his arms in front of himself and began raising the heat of his flames.
