"The hero work studies are a more serious version of your internships. They entail helping pro agencies on the streets and with investigations." Aizawa explained to your class. "Your teachers and the principal discussed them at the faculty meeting. And we all agree... It's too soon; they really should be canceled."

"What?!" You and your classmates asked in unison, shocked by the sudden announcement.

"Aw, but we already met about them!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"I guess, when you think about why we had to move into the dorms, it does make sense." Kaminari pointed out.

"Ha, ha!" Bakugo laughed mockingly as he shot up from his seat with a pleased face.

"But..." Aizawa spoke up, regaining your class's attention. "Some people think we won't be able to raise strong heroes with that sort of protective outlook. And with that in mind, the compromise is to be selective about participating agencies. So choose one with a proven track record. Otherwise, you won't be taking part."

"Damn it!" Bakugo yelled.

"Ha." You laughed, giving Bakugo a smug look.

The rest day went by pretty uneventfully, with you and your classmates mostly talking about suitable agencies to do work studies with. Currently, you find yourself walking through the school hallways along with Mina and Kaminari. As they chatted among themselves, you were debating with yourself whether or not to contact Critical. However, your train of thought is interrupted by an announcement over the school's intercom system.

"First-year student [Y/N] Hikari. All Might would like to speak with you. Please head to the counseling office at once." The voice over the intercom announced.

"Me?" You said in confusion as Mina and Kaminari let out a gasp.

"What did you do?!" Mina and Kaminari both asked in unison, their eyes wide with curiosity as they invaded your personal space.

"Nothing." You quickly answered. "At least I don't think I did anything..."

"You truly are our class's bad boy, aren't you?" Mina teased, nudging you playfully.

"Such a delinquent." Kaminari added with a smirk. You rolled your eyes at their teasing.

'These two really do share a single brain cell.' you thought to yourself as you made your way to the counseling office.

Once there, you knock on the door and receive a. "Come in." from All Might. As you entered, you saw that he wasn't alone, as sitting across from him were Midoriya and Mirio.

"Uh... Hi, you needed to see me, All Might?" You asked.

"Oh, yes, Young [Y/N], I did. You remember Young Togata, yes?" All Might asked, gesturing towards Mirio.

"Yeah... He's kinda hard to forget." You answered as you felt the phantom pain in your jaw from your last encounter with the blonde haired boy.

"Well, you see, Young Togata here is currently participating in a work study under Sir Nighteye." All explained.

"Sir Nighteye..." You thought out loud. "You mean your former sidekick?"

"Yes, that's correct," All Might confirmed. "I had asked Young Togata here to see if he would introduce Young Midoriya to him for a potential work study opportunity. And he agreed, but he also requested for me to call you here."

"Me?" You asked.

"That's right!" Mirio exclaimed with a smile as he and you locked eyes. "I just wanted to ask you a question... What kind of hero do you wanna be?"
