As the second test of the exam began, everyone rushed forward, heading for the destroyed zones.
"Let's start by heading to the closest urban area. We'll work as a team as much as possible." Iida called out as you and your classmates moved together.
"Right!" You, along with several of your classmates, replied.
As your class continued to move as a unit, Bakugo, along with Kirishima and Kaminari, split off.
"Right, so, uh... Try to get this over quickly for me, yeah?" Mera's voice asked over the speakers as you and your classmates made your way through the destroyed urban area.
"Even though this is just a test, it feels pretty real." Tsu remarked.
"Stay alert! Be careful of falling debris and explosions." Ojiro called out.
Then suddenly, Midoriya stopped and began looking around.
"What's wrong, Midoriya?" Iida asked.
"I hear someone." Midoriya answered as you all stopped and listened.
"Help me, please!" A voice cried out from nearby, so you all quickly rushed towards its source and eventually found what seemed to be an injured young child. "My grandpa! He's been crushed. I think he's hurt."
"Oh, no. This looks bad. Where is he?" Midoriya said as you all reached the injured child.
"This looks bad?! That's points off your score!" The young child exclaimed as he looked up at you, all revealing himself to actually be a very short grown man dressed as a kid. "The first thing you should do is see how bad my injuries are and if I can walk. I'm breathing kinda weird, too, aren't I? And didn't you even notice that I'm bleeding from the head? People with hero licenses should be able to judge a victim's condition in an instant!"
'So the people from HUC will be the ones grading us...' You thought to yourself.
"Your gross lack of training is all too apparent right now. You better shape up and pay, newbies! You're not just here to provide aid. Until the police and firefighters show up, you need to exercise authority and make sure this goes smoothly." The HUC member explained. "Think of the victims here. They must be terrified. There are many aspects of being a hero. But take note. There is one thing to keep in mind above all else. Anyone who needs rescuing is having the worst day of their lives. And the first thing you said was, "This looks bad?" Seriously?"
Hearing this, you can't help but reflect on his words, and you're not the only one, as your classmates experience the same realization as Midoriya slaps the side of his head before flashing the HUC member a big smile. "Hey! It's fine!"
"Over there! My grandpa!" The HUC member cried as he got back into character.
"Don't you worry. We'll definitely save him." Midoriya reassured before looking back at you and the others. "I can carry this boy to the first aid station myself. You guys, go on without me!"
"Hang on, I'll go with you." you called out. "Just in case you come across any more injured civilians along the way."
"All right!" Midoriya responded as he scooped The HUC member and the two of you began to head out of the zone.
As the two of you ran, you couldn't help but glance towards Midoriya, a strange buzzing sensation filling your chest. 'What is this feeling?' you thought to yourself; however, you quickly pushed these thoughts away when you heard the muffled sounds of someone calling for help in the distance. Without hesitation, you and Midoriya rushed towards the sound, and upon reaching it, you found an injured woman under some rubble.
