Since [Y/N] Hikari was a young boy, he aspired to be a hero; unfortunately for him, his farther is the notorious villain known as Oni. And despite his father being imprisoned for many years, people never seem to forget their connection. In spite of...
[So, first off, I just want to apologize for the long wait; life has been throwing a bunch of twists and turns my way recently, some good, like getting to go to Anime St. Louis, which was a blast, and some less fun, like getting some pretty scary news about my mom's health, but now that things have seemed to have hopefully balanced out, I can get back to writing for you lovely people, so yay! So I hope anyone new to this story or those returning enjoy this and future chapters.]
Following you and your classmates' return from your mission with the WHA, you all swiftly fell back into your routine of school and your work studies as soon enough spring had arrived.
"Ugh. It's spring break, but we can't even enjoy it because our work studies are still going. Boo!" Mina groaned as a group of your class walked together.
"So much for having time to relax." Kaminari added.
"It says we have an expeditionary operation." Uraraka thought out loud as she read a notification she and Tsu received from Ryukyu's agency.
"So like a work field trip?" Tsu questioned.
"Hold on, for real?" Kaminari asked as he, Sero, and Mineta looked back at the two girls. "That's weird. Same for us."
"Our agency, too. I wonder why." Midoriya chimed in.
"Well, I'm sure this could only mean something good..." You remarked with a small smile as a few of your classmates confirmed they too had received the same notification. "Guess there really is no rest for heroes."
...
Meanwhile, elsewhere, several pro heroes from all over the country gathered for a very important briefing.
"Doctor Kyudai Garaki. Quirkless. The founder of Jaku General Hospital and its current chairman of the board." Tsukauchi informed as a picture of the doctor was shown to the gathered heroes on a large screen.

"So this is the monster?" Rock Lock asked with a scowl. "A true villain. All For One's most trusted agent."
"Right. And he's supposedly the mad scientist who bioengineered those Nomu abominations." Mandalay added.
"How are you so certain he's the one to blame?" Endeavor questioned.
"I sent someone in undercover after receiving intel from the safety commission. He found a restricted area within the hospital. None of the staff knew its purpose." Tsukauchi answered. "This off-limits area has one entrance: through the morgue. Garaki is the only person who ever comes and goes. If you need more evidence..." As he said this, the screen changed to show an image of the doctor standing alongside a miniature Nomu. "This picture's from our man inside."
"Is that a tiny Nomu?!" Pixie-Bob exclaimed, shocked by the sight.
"It would be easy to arrest the doctor since he's a public figure. But if we act rashly, the Paranormal Liberation Front will enact countermeasures. The last thing we want is a repeat of the widespread devastation in Hosu or Kamino." Tsukauchi explained. "Those events traumatized the public, and we lost too many good people on our side. Sure, we were able to apprehend All For One. But it was at the cost of our number one. All Might was forced to retire. Therefore, we'll face this situation with every available resource at our disposal." The screen then shifted to display the strategy that would be used for this operation. "First, the pros will be split into two groups. Team Endeavor will be in charge of securing Kyudai Garaki at Jaku Hospital. While Team Edge Shot will storm the Gunga Mountain Villa, which we believe to be the Paranormal Liberation Front's hideout." He continued. "These two events will happen simultaneously. In addition, hero course students will be deployed as logistical support for both teams. They'll assist with civilian evacuation and rescue if the encounters start to escalate. We expect substantial resistance from the villains, their supporters, and the Nomu, but we cannot wait any longer. If we don't act now, they will prevail. The doctor, his pets, Shigaraki. Every villain must fall. Heroes..." Tsukauchi paused, his expression determined as he looked to the gathered heroes. "The idea is to take out the entire Paranormal Liberation Front in one sweep!"
