Liam’s POV continued... 

As we were wrapped in each others lips, Danielle suddenly pulled away as the sun was setting. 

“Ooh sunset!” she said as she untangled herself from me and ran to the shoreline and took a seat. I laughed at her childish nature before joining her down at the shoreline, and took a peek at her, her brown hair flowing in the wind and her warm brown eyes staring ahead on the horizon. 

“Enjoying the view?” she giggled. 

“One of my all time favorites.” I said as I winked cheekily to her and looked back at the sunset. 

“When I would come to the beach, I’d always watch the sunset, helps me get my mind off of things you know? But I’ve never watched it with someone before. You’re the first girl I’ve ever brought to the beach with me.” I said to her. 

“Another first?” she piped up, making me smile.

“Yeah baby, another first.” I smirked at her. 

“I like firsts.” She said as she beamed at me, showing me two straight rows of beautiful teeth. 

“You look very pleased with yourself Miss Peazer.” I stated as I sat in front of her. 

“I am Mr. Payne. But you’re going to have to shift over because the sun is setting.” She said as she lightly shoved my shoulder, making me smile. She then began to start a countdown quietly, more to herself than to me. It started from thirty.

“What are you doing?” I inquired quietly.

“I’m counting down until the sun sets on the horizon.” She said back to me and then crawled in my lap, where I wrapped my arms around her, and joined her in her countdown.

“10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1.” We whispered in unison and stared at the beautiful image in front of us. The sun had set perfectly on the horizon, making the sky a pink and orange color with yellow streaks. It really was beautiful.

“Beautiful.” Danielle whispered as she stared in awe of the horizon. I then kissed her neck softly before replying.

“Just like you.” I whispered in her ear making her blush and whisper a small thank you. In all honesty, Danielle is the most beautiful girls I’ve ever been with. Her curly brown hair and light complexion making her stand out from the women I’ve been with. Her eyes, a beautiful chocolate brown color and a warm smile that made anybody’s day brighter. She really was a pretty sight. I didn’t notice I was staring at her when she smirked at me. 

“Enjoying the view.” She said to me as she turned around in my arms and straddled my lap. 

“I am, both of them actually.” I said to her with a smile on my face as I focused on the sunset. 

“And your conclusion?” she said to me as she lent down and pressed her cheek to my chest and rubbed circles into my lower back, me doing the same to her. 

“A camera couldn’t even capture all of your beauty, like it can a sunset.” I whispered into her hair making her shyly grin up at me, and pressing a kiss to the base of my neck. We sat in a comfortable silence as we both watched the sun slowly disappear behind the horizon. I could tell she was getting sleepy when she yawed and snuggled closer to me, pressing her head to my shoulder. 

“Tired love?” I joked, making her sleepily nod.

“I didn’t get much sleep last night; my boyfriend was playing around with kitchen utensils.” She said to me, making memories of last night push to the front of my mind. 

“Come on love, lets get you home.” I said to her as I picked her up and carried her bridal style back to our towels, I set her down and she grabbed everything and she opened her arms for me to carry her again, which I did gladly and then made the short distance to her house, I then set her down when we stopped at the door. 

“Are you staying tonight?” she said as she rubbed her eyes and yawned. 

“I don’t have any clothes baby.” I said as I shrugged.

“Yes you do. The clothes that you lent me to sleep are in my bedroom.” She said as she pushed open the door and made her way upstairs, me following behind her. 

“Oh right.” I said as I saw them on the bed side table. I took notice of how her room was decorated. It was a lavender color, with white furniture and a white walk in closet and a bathroom to the right. 

“You can have a shower if you want, the towels are in the cabinet under the –yawn- sink.” She said as she walked towards me, me wrapping my arms around her waist loosely and giving her a quick kiss.

“Okay.” I said against her lips and then pulled away and turned into the bathroom. As I walked into the bathroom, I took notice of how it was decorated, the walls were cream and there was white tile and wood everywhere, it had a comforting look to it and it reminded me of home. I peeled off my swim trunks and then stepped into her shower.

When I stepped back out of the bathroom in the clothes I lent Danielle last night, I found her tucked into bed with her hair in a bun and she slept on her side.  I didn’t hesitate to crawl in behind her and wrap my arms around her waist and pull her close to me after I peeled the t-shirt off. She turned over to face me in her sleepy state and nestled her head in the crook of my neck and began to drift off again. She looked so beautiful as she slept, I could lay awake and watch her for hours, but seeing as it was almost midnight, I decided to get some rest as well.

“Goodnight love.” I whispered in her ear, before pressing a kiss to her forehead lightly and then drifting off to sleep where the images of today flashed through my dreams, making me smile as I slept.
