Danielle’s POV

I heard Liam groan as he sat down on my couch at my place. I giggled and sat next to him, and he set his head down on my lap.

“I thought they would never shut up.” He grumbled.

“Hey! That’s not very nice.” I said as I ran my fingers through his hair, making him relax.

“Screw being nice.” He huffed making me giggle. I looked over at the clock and it said 3:45. Dinner at my father’s started at 7:30. I groaned and laid a hand over my face.

“What?” he said as he sat up and moved a lock of curly hair behind my ear and leaned up and pressed a kiss to my cheek, eyelashes fluttering at his touch.

“I have so much stuff to do in preparation of getting ready for this stupid dinner. I honestly don’t even feel like going anymore.” I groaned.

“Now now Danielle, you made a commitment, which I so happened to take part in, so if I go, you go.” He said to me, hauling me to my feet and pressing a kiss to my pouted lip. He pulled away slowly and smiled at me.

“Damn it. You’re right.” I said to him. He then smiled and pressed a heavy kiss to my lips before turning me around and sending me off upstairs. He patted my behind in encouragement before I batted his hands away and made the inevitable journey upstairs.

I stood in front of my closet, scanning anything that could be remotely presentable, as my father would say. I was wrapped in my pink fluffy robe and I had my hair straightened. I didn’t hear Liam walk in, he startled me as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed a kiss to my temple. I jumped in his arms before finally relaxing again.

“Relax love ,its only me.” he chuckled before releasing me, and looking at me from head to toe. “Are you wearing that to the dinner? Because it so does not match my outfit.” He said that last part in a fake American accent, making me giggle.

“No, don’t be silly. I’m just struggling with an internal battle.” I huffed as I faced my closet again. Inspiration hits me. I turn around and face Liam to scan his ensemble from head to toe. He was in a white button up shirt and dark jeans and black shoes and his hair was spiked up. He looked delicious. I glanced up at his face, and he looks surprisingly….uncomfortable.

“Dani, what are you doing?” he said as he shifted on his feet, making me grin up at him.

“Seeing if I have anything to wear that matches you, mentally that is.” I said distractedly as I mentally went through my clothes. I walked into my closet and closed the door, I went to the very back for my black skirt and white shirt, and paired it off with black pumps.

“You could be wearing a paper bag, but you’ll still be beautiful.” He called through the wooden doors, making my cheeks turn pink.  Once looking over my outfit in the full length mirror in the closet, I opened the doors to find Liam lying on his back, staring at his phone in the air. When he acknowledged my presence, he sat up and dropped his phone on the comforter. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it shortly after. He repeated the process twice. I shyly smiled and made my way over to him, he abruptly stood, his height towering over mine.

“Danielle, you look breathtaking.” He said as he pressed a kiss to my lips and took both my hands in his. I smiled and said a small ‘thank you’ and lent up to kiss him again, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed his soft lips to mine. He traced my bottom lip with his tongue and I parted my lips to let his tongue slip through. A seemingly sweet kiss quickly turned into a desperate attempt to feel each other as he picked me up and pressed me against the nearest wall. Liam soon pulled away; our breathing was harsh and fast paced.
