I woke up, feeling heavy breathing on my sternum. I squinted my eyes, adjusting to the light that infiltrated the bedroom and focused on the sleeping person on top of me. Liam’s head was resting on my chest, his legs threaded through mine and his arms constricted around my body like a vine. I shifted over in search of a cool spot to lay on and I heard Liam’s muffled sounds of distress as he held me tighter. I conceded and just decided to lay there. He ran a hand up my legs and another under the sheets, I figured that he was in search of my hands, and I was proven correct when he entwined our fingers and squeezed, then relaxing back into my body and falling back asleep. I ran my fingers lightly through his hair and his breathing slowed, what he did last night was sweet, real sweet. It wasn’t long until Liam began to stir and move underneath the sheets and slowly open his eyes and peered up at me.

“Mornin’ gorgeous.” I cheekily said to him making a tired smile spread across his face.

“Hello love.” His voice strained as he stretched out his limbs and rolled off of me.

“What you did last night was really sweet. Thank you for putting me to bed.” I smiled when his cheeks tinged pink.

“I want to take care of you.” He said softly, big brown eyes peering up at me making me press a kiss to his cheek. “Can I take you out today?” he asked softly as he grasped my hand and squeezed.

“Where to?” I mused.

“The park.” He said with a smile. “I’ve always wanted to go there with someone.” He said to me as he tucked a stray stand of hair behind my ear.

“Mmm, another first.” I hummed in appreciation of his touch making him smile. “I’m going to have a shower.” I said as I wriggled my limbs from Liam and adjusted the clothes I was wearing and grabbed the bag with my extra clothes and made my way to the bathroom.

I shut the water off of the shower and slipped on the clothes I packed. A pair of black leggings and a plaid button down shirt of Liam’s that was far too big for me, but it was comfortable and it still smelled of him even though I washed it. I brushed my hair and decided on no makeup since Liam had voiced his opinion of it last night. I slipped on my sandals and walked out of the bathroom. Liam lifted his head from the cocoon he created of the sheets and smiled at me.

“Is that my shirt?” he asked amused as he made his way over to me making me smile.

“Yes, sir. You left it at my house and now its mine.” I said playfully as I stood on my toes and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Go and shower.” I said as he playfully bit down on my neck. He cheekily winked at me before brushing past me and went into the shower. I took the opportunity to walk downstairs and make some breakfast. I walked into the kitchen and flipped the switch on the wall. I walked to the fridge and grabbed the eggs, cheese and tomatoes. I then grabbed the frying pan and poured some oil into it. I cracked the eggs and poured them into the pan.

I was just placing the omelets I made on some plates on the table when Liam came down the stairs smelling fresh from the shower and wet brown hair that hung down on his forehead until he pushed it back with his hands. His eyes crinkled at the sides when he smiled at me.

“Smells delicious.” He said as he sat at the table making me smile. I poured orange juice into the glasses on the table and sat opposite to him.

“I hope you like it.” I whispered as I watched him take a bite of the omelet. He swallowed and grinned at me.

“This is delicious Dani, I had no idea you could cook!” he exclaimed as he took another bite, making me relax and smile.

“You never asked.” I cheekily responded making him grin at me. We sat at the table, both focusing on our meals and sharing morning banter. We soon finished our meal when he stood to clear the plates. I volunteered to wash up but he said it’s fine and that he’ll do it and he sent me on a task.
