Liam's POV

"So what do you want to do today?" Danielle asked me as she cracked the eggs in the frying pan, she turned to me. I shrugged my shoulders and wrapped my arms around her waist and pressed a kiss to her shoulder.

"Doesn't matter to me." I smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek. She placed our breakfast on plates and set them down on the table. We took our seats and began eating. About 5 minutes later, Danielle spoke up.

"I have to go into town today." she said before bringing her breakfast up to her lips.

"Why?"

"I need to re-stock the shelves at the store, go grocery shopping and I have to go and pick up my dress for my friend's wedding. You don't have to come if you don't want too. I'll be real quick." she said as she sipped on her orange juice. I shook my head before replying.

"It's fine, I'll come. Besides, I have to stop into town for some things here anyway, and uh, meet up with an old friend." I said as she took a bite into her bagel. She looked up at me confusedly before she just nodded and finished her breakfast. I released a breath slowly, hoping she would just drop it for now.

Danielle's POV

An old friend?

From what I knew about Liam, he didn't have many friends, and so far i've met all of them. Unwelcome thoughts about Jace floated to the front of my mind and I grimaced.

"What's wrong?" Liam asked from across the table. I looked up at him and smiled reassuringly.

"Nothing, just bit my tongue." I lied. I pressed my hand to the side of my cheek to prove my statement. He smiled and chuckled.

"Wimp" he joked. I stuck my tongue out playfully and giggled. We finished our breakfast in silence and then Liam bounded up the stairs to shower and change so we could head by mine. I figured that i'd scare off the neighbors if I walked through my front door half naked so I quietly padded into Liam's bedroom and went straight to his chester drawers, rummaging for some sweatpants. Once victorious, and pushed my left leg into the pant leg, Liam's phone rang. I quickly pulled on the pants and wandered over to the dresser, where his black phone sat. I flipped it over and looked at the caller ID, a number I didn't recognize. I figured that I should go and tell Liam.

I softly knocked on the wooden door separating us.

"Yes love? Come in!" he shouted. I hesitantly turned the knob and walked in. He looked at me, hair wet and water dripping from his chest, a white towel wrapped around his waist. "Yeah love?" he asked.

I shook my head before replying. "Your phone is ringing." I said as I handed him the ringing phone. He frowned as he took it from me, and looked up at me.

"Why didn't you answer it?"

"I- I was...I just thought...I thought that would've- nevermind." I said as I looked at my hands. He chuckled lightly and walked over to me and lifted my chin. I looked into his amber eyes, filled with happiness. He leant in and pressed a soft kiss on my lips before answering the ringing phone.

"Hello?.....Sup man....No, I've got stuff to do today....Friday? Meaning tomorrow?.....Sure....Can I bring someone?...Haha very funny.....alright, later." he said as he hung up the call. He then wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. "Would you like to come with me to a party on Friday?" he asked as he rubbed his nose against mine. I smiled before pressing a kiss to it and nodding.

"Sure. Who's? What's the occasion?"

"My friend Adam just moved in to his first house, with his girlfriend, they're having a house warming of some sorts." he snorted. "She's a bossy little thing. Sweet, but bossy." he smiled down at me.
