The Flash: Lost...

Chapter IIX

Barry looks at Wenn and rubs the back of his neck, "Yeah, I figured that..."
He furrows his brow, "How long have you known?"
"Basically the moment you walked in to the precinct. The force is strong with you, young Padawan" She jokes.
Barry chuckles, Wenn continues.
"I had encountered the Flash once. I felt this huge force of energy and then he, you, blasted past me. I felt it again yesterday, figuring the Flash must be close. It got stronger and stronger, then you walked in to the lab. So, yeah... I kinda figured you must be the Flash."
"Wow, that makes keeping my identity a secret harder. Glad you are on my side." His head shoots up, "You are... on my side, right?"
Wenn starts to laugh, "Yes Barry, I'm not going to go all villain on you and the city. Although Magneto is kinda cool." She grins.
Then turns serious again, "I'm also pretty sure I'm the only one with this kind of ability. But just in case there is also a Professor X-like person out there, you might wanna upgrade that mask of yours with a metal lining"
"There is." Barry mumbles, thinking of Gorilla Grodd. Who is still out there...

"What was that?" Wenn asks

Barry doesn't want to elaborate about Grodd just yet so changes the topic back to her.

"So you can sense, but also manipulate energy fields, is that how you got me to sleep?" Barry asks
"Sorta, yeah. I lined up your energy and syphoned off all excess negative energy. Your body relaxed enough so you could fall asleep."
Barry doesn't know how he feels about the fact that she can manipulate him like that. Then again, it was to help him and truthfully, he'd do anything to get another good sleep like he had yesterday.
"I think I can also do it the other way around, like...charge you." Wenn says
"You think?" He asks
"I... yesterday was the first time I ever used my powers on a human being." She smiles sheepishly "I learn through trial and error and somehow our powers 'connect'. Magnetic force is formed and enhanced or diminished..."
"...by reaction with kinetic and/or electric energy." Barry finishes
"So I figured I'd give it a try. And... it worked." She looks at him cautiously, hoping he isn't mad for being used as a guinea pig.
He smiles "It's a bit scary that you can do that, but that was the best 6 hours of sleep I've had in months!"
Wenn lets out a sigh of relief, "I'm glad I could help."
"So...you... wanna try?" Barry asks
"Try what?"
"See if you can charge me as well."
Wenn looks at him, not sure. "I...I'm not sure. Your energy level is extremely high. I'm afraid what will happen, not to mention what happens when I add too much..."
"Well, we won't know until we try"
Wenn takes a deep breath, "Okay, hold out your hands, palms up"
Barry does as he is told. Wenn lines up her hands above his and looks at him, silently asking if he's sure.
Barry nods.
He feels the tingling again only this time it gets stronger and stronger. Suddenly there is a surge of energy and lightning start crackling between their hands and Barry starts to vibrate. Another surge and he's flashing through the living room so fast it even makes his head spin!

He stops in front of Wenn "That.was.AWESOME!!"Still bouncing from all that energy flowing through his body.

Wenn start to laugh, "Wow, I guess that went well"

Barry so is high on this boost of energy, he feels like he can move faster,think faster, but it also makes the physical attraction he already felt towards Wenn a lot stronger.
And she is close...too close... Those beautiful green eyes, her kind smile and godshe smells so.nice.

His senses go in to overdrive and he can't help himself, he charges forward and kisses her....
